People disappear like crazy around here, even members who aren't long term.

I wonder what happened to the members I put on ignore?
Guess I’ll never find out.

Alien abductions?

What alien would be soft enough to abduct any of us?
Do you like Zimmer,Horner or William's-- beep beep?
It's nothing like star trek or star wars up here, is it?
Followed by an immediate return to earth.

Jim Cleveland was/is a board charter member along with Thor, Nicolai and YT. I think he also used the handle Lonely Guy for a short while. That jumped out at me per another current thread (with Orwell title attached to it).

We joined this board even earlier than Lukas Kendall himself. big grin

(But of course, this is already the third incarnation of the FSM board... we were on all of them. )

JAMES SOUTHALL AND JON BROXTON are huge losses! I loved their reviews. We lost both of them due to some nasty comments from idiots. I've seen Jon here only a few times since he left and have never seen James since he disappeared. This is a MIA tragedy.

Funny thing is they're both on Facebook, where there's much more vitriol than here. (But I guess it's easier to live in your bubble.)

Hey Nicolai, I'm not on Facebook. Are you saying there big, vitriolic arguments about film scores on Facebook?
(I don't even know what is and what is not allowed on Facebook.)

Chris Kinsinger was here and then left, came back and then left again.

Kinsinger always made me laugh in Chickenhearted's poster quizzes. The idea if you knew the answer was to leave a tricky clever clue not easily guessed but his were always so so obvious it was funny. Like for Planet of the Apes he would probably put "A planet but one full up of Apes" lol big grin

Plus he was also the Leon style assassin of the squirrel world and that made me laugh.

Miss chickenhearted too. Bless him.

Ditto. Chickenhearted put some work into making it fun here.

And Kinsinger was friendly and liked to join in.

Hi Joan, there sure are, at least if you consider this board here vitriolic, which personally I don't.

Not a member, per se--and I ABSOLUTELY and COMPLETELY understand its reasons for being gone--but I miss:
"Offensive Thread Titles You Wouldn't Dare Post".

There were some good larfs to be found in it, until it became personal warfare.

Agreed - outrageously funny thread

I second this! Best thread on the board.
