I believe I'm right in saying that with Smith Rowe moving from Arsenal to Fulham, the only Premier League club yet to make a new signing is.....Liverpool.
There's still 5 weeks to go and I'm sure deals are being brokered left and right. Plus, Liverpool tend to keep their planned moves quiet until they've been inked. We got lucky last season avoiding those two over-priced crocks/flops who signed for Chelsea instead, despite better deals from Liverpool (phew!!). More of that please.
I get all that, but my ears were pricked when Richard Hughes said at that press conference that any signings would be "opportunistic", whatever that means. I'm a bit concerned that after spending on the midfield last season for a manager who is no longer there, there won't be much this summer for the new one. They were definitely in for Yoro who decided to play Europa League with the mancs (and paying an 18 year old an absolute fortune), and the Italian defender Calafiori who I thought would have been an ideal signing, but he's off to the Arse.
I know that Arnie needs time to look at what he has and about a dozen of the first team squad are still on holiday, but it's going to be leaving it late to bring in the desired quality if everyone else has acted. As he said, not ideal taking over in a summer when tournaments are played.
Hammers have been linked with everyone. It's on, it's off, they've gone back in for them etc. Its a daily barrage. The only time they stop running on-off stories on these 40 deals is when they sign for someone else. Lol
This is true...just in. My brother-in-law bought a birthday card for his wife and when his young son saw it, he told him it was 'gay'. Thinking he was being homo-phobic, he told him off for using ignorant slurs, but he said "No, it's got a drawing of two women holding hands on the front" Made us laugh.
Yeah I knew it was in pipeline but we've had so many stories - almost daily - where we are all set to sign a player and agent demands a 10m fee or they sign for someone else. It does indeed sound like it's done. Any good tg? Better than our already wanky wingers Cornet and benrahma? Quick? End product? Does he have a brain?

Very quick feet, and championship defenders couldn’t stop him from cutting in and getting a shot away, which he does almost every time he has the ball at his feet. I don’t know if premier league defenders would have quite the same problem.
