From the live text: "As expected Jesse Lingard, cut from Gareth Southgate's Euro 2020 squad yesterday, starts tonight while Jude Bellingham makes his first senior start at the age of 17. "Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kieran Trippier both start, with Alexander-Arnold set to line up at right back with Trippier likely to be either playing as a right-sided centre-back, or at left back. "There's no Chelsea or Manchester City players involved in this game, having played in the Champions League final on Saturday." England XI: Pickford, Alexander-Arnold, Trippier, Rice, Mings, Coady, Saka, Bellingham, Kane, Grealish, Lingard. Subs: Calvert-Lewin, Johnstone, Godfrey, Phillips, White, Watkins, Ward-Prowse, Henderson, Sancho, Ramsdale.

It's quite painful watching this England...B team...England 1.5...? Toiling against a pedestrian, robust Austrian team, who have gone close (to an equaliser) themselves a few times. I missed the England goal. Tbh, I haven't paid that much attention to the game, it's just kinda on in the background.

Austria just missed a sitter in the 88th minute. Should be 1-1. And TAA looks like he's injured* (and got booked for being injured too). Fuck Off England. I hope Jordan Henderson pulls out and then they can do what the fuck they like *I hope Trent has booked a nice holiday and watches the Euros from a nice bar in Spain or Portugal.

"He may yet miss the whole tournament" -------------------- I live in hope. He's obviously not full fit. Why risk it? I'm surprised LFC let him join up with the squad.
