No link. Sold at Shalam, a second hand store in Kristiansand. I guess NRK Sørlandet gave their collection to them.

Masterpiece album!

Looking forward to it. Not sure it's totally my style but cost me only 30 NOK.

It showcases Oakie's songwriting and production skills, not just the DJ and EDM stuff. Which is why it's a must-have! Not on the level of TRAVELLING (my favourite Oakenfold), but it's a rather different thing altogether.

As I have mentioned earlier, I really like his (and Steve Osborne's) production on the 1993 Deacon Blue album Whatever You Say, Say Nothing.

I sent you a link once. I seem to remember you didn't like it too much. :-D

Listened to Bunkka now. Good album, only three bad tracks, the two hip-hop tracks (Starry Eyed Surprise and Get Em Up), and Time Of Your Life. Rest of the tracks more or less good. He is good at getting the right amount of commerciality coupled with more "intelligent" stuff.

I like all of the songs, including those you didn't. I'm not a big fan of hip hop either, but if I'm going to listen to it, I either want very old school or lush production values like this; it isn't really pure hip hop, it's more an electronic hybrid.

BTW, I remember hearing Starry Eyed Surprise on the radio quite a few times around 2002. I had no idea it was an Oakenfold track.
