Sort of. You have to pay a small deductible for each visit at the doctor's (about $30-35), but once you've reached $275, everything is free for the remainder of the year, whatever it is.
"I'm "fleeing" to Berlin for a few days on Sunday" ------------------ I trust you will play the appropriate music Thor. May I suggest NIGHT CROSSING by Jerry Goldsmith.
Hopefully you won't run into ChristianK. I don't think ( but i could be wrong) he likes ' refugees'!
Winter hasn't let go since October last year up here. Still very cold (below 0 almost every day), and snow still keeps coming. I won't expect spring to arrive untill May.
Pretty sure Thor could just keep bumping this thread till the end of time!
Or,until global warming melts North Pole ice caps
I have this image in my head... Remember the scene in DAD where the villain melts an iceberg with a giant laser and 007 barely escapes by paragliding to safety on land?
We've had some massive snow storms. We've been pretty much house bound for 5 days, and I think we'll be stuck another 4 -5 days. My daughters in the Seattle area have had to work from their homes.

I know you folks aren't used to that joan. We've had storms where we'd lose power for 5 days or more and then were still housebound due to road conditions. You go batty without the power but the snow makes a great refrigerator and freezer. Hope you get some relief soon.
Cloudy skies, but about 60F; our usual warm-spell tease, and I fully expect a cold snap about the same time that the peach trees bloom. Warm enough that the spring peepers are peeping at the ponds near my house. I love to be outside at night and listen to them. I'm hoping the Purple Martins will find the house I've relocated for them acceptable this year; they've ignored it the last couple of years.
The last couple of months' heavy snow amounts (as pictured on the previous page) have given way to somewhat milder weather, at least slightly above 0 C during the day, which have turned all streets into ice rinks instead. Even worse, IMO. If you attempt to walk outside, it's on your own risk -- especially if you don't have spikes on your shoes.
