Suggs is da man! At least that's what I thought when I was 11 years old. Madness must have been iconic among Brit kids my age back then. Suggs and his grown-out flat-top haircut were "cool" among my idiot rabble. I seriously need to re-listen to more Madness! It might even sweeten my disposition or at least make me as "woke" as the typical mainstream FSMer.
Watched the "Cardiac Arrest" video--not familiar at all. Thematically, the song is a combination of Paul's vocal break in "A Day in the Life" and the concept of "Good Morning Good Morning."
BTW, not one Brit bastard ever wore the suit, brolly, and bowler hat ensemble Suggs and the boys wear in the video! In fact, that defining gentleman's suit was nowhere to be seen when I visited London ten years ago! I'll bet no Brit man has worn that outfit since Roger Moore in The Man Who Haunted Himself!
