"...that cry's money cheats when other teams are winning, Fenway can compete with anyone in the world buying who they want, they're super rich"
----------------------
I don't know why I'm wasting my time with a fool like you, but you've just contradicted your own argument right there, in your own words.
Yes, Fenway CAN probably compete with many other clubs, but NOT an oil rich state AND also because they are NOT FULLY ALLOWED to, cos you have to follow PROFIT & SUSTAINABILITY rules, which is something Abu Dhabi didn't bother doing over, what was it, 6-8 seasons, ensuring they profited from moving players and managers around while hiding their dodgy dealings from the League (and continuing to hide and delay any investigations, cos they know they're bang out of order).
They've now counter sued the league cos they know they have more money than them in the long run.
But you'd know all about that being a Chelsea mug.
Their recent dodge by moving some funds to a quick hotel company set-up in the owners name laughed in the face of fair play.
Just a shame your current show runners are even more incompetent and bigger mugs than the league itself.
Things were much nicer for yooz when Putin's mate toyed about with yerz.

He must've passed his end of season review, so I'm sure he's delighted. Never mind the waffle they've come out with, he's been kept on as the cheap option. They are close to that PSR, so to sack him and his staff and bring in another management team would cost a fortune. They finished 8th, lost 14 odd league games and didn't get out of an easy Champions League group. They sacked Moyes for less, shows how mediocre they are now.

There is no way those fixtures are drawn randomly by a computer like the premier league say. Liverpool always seem to start away at a promoted team, always play Citeh in November and always have a home fixture on the last day. There's no chance of that happening randomly, they must use some sort of formula. Plus that first game is the dreaded 1230 KO, all the way to Suffolk which is handy for the supporters.

They control n analyse every single fixture, no matter what they say.
And they always pit top 6 v bottom half teams at the beginning n end of the season. I imagine if it was City v arsenal final day? Never happens.

Ordinarily hammers always get man city or man Ure first day or last day of the season. We've got city 3rd game in.

Premier League fixtures 24/25: Quirky stats
Manchester United are the first side in the competition's history to begin a Premier League campaign with a home game in eight consecutive seasons.
Erik ten Hag's side kick off the campaign against Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday August 16, live on Sky Sports, in the first game of the new league season.
The last time United didn't play at Old Trafford on opening weekend, star midfielder Kobbie Mainoo was 11 years old...

Incredibly, West Ham do not play outside of London until November.
The Hammers' first nine games are all in the capital with five home games and all of their away trips London derbies.
The Julen Lopetegui era begins at the London Stadium against Aston Villa on Saturday, August 12, live on Sky Sports; kick-off 5.30pm.
West Ham's first game outside of London will be on November 2 against Nottingham Forest

I did post toward the end of last seasons thread that there are only 5 northern teams in the league next year, so there obviously will be a lot of fixtures in London in general.

It does make it harder to do well, especially as the London sides are top half n midtable teams.

Nice stat, but to be fair, it's only 4 away games - saying it's till November sounds worse.

One for the future!

(I can talk - we probably still have Mervin Day on our books.)

Sorry I thought the Foderingham thing was days ago. 3rd choice keeper just to keep the home grown tally up.

We seem to be closing in on some proper targets too

"It’s an amazing feeling to be a West Ham United player. As soon as I was aware of the interest from the club, it was an opportunity I was keen to pursue, so I couldn’t be more delighted to be here."

For reasons unknown, I found myself watching the Morocco V Argies match in the Olympics earlier. The Argies scored an equaliser in the 16th minute of injury time and then all hell broke lose. Morocco supporters threw things onto the pitch and then decided to have a pitch invasion so the referee stopped the match. If more of this type of thing happens I might actually watch some of it!

And apparently VAR has belatedly ruled that equaliser offside!

I had to laugh this week after reading the report of the game in Norway that was cancelled after fans starting throwing stuff on to the pitch in their anger at VAR being used.
They want VAR scrapping and plan to continue protesting games by throwing stuff, including fish cakes, to disrupt games.
FISH CAKES!!!!!!
(now I feel hungry).

I really don't know. From what I saw, there were a few stoppages but nowhere near that time. The stadium was full of Morocco supporters and there did seem to be a bit of an edge to it all, but I didn't realise until I read after that they are furious at the Argies for that racist video they posted after winning the Copa America.
