Preiss also has another great scene in Anzio where he is discussing how wide open Rome is and demanding more troops and panzers. He had a great voice. He also had a substantial few scenes as Rommel in Raid on Rommel with richard burton.

Another sequel to 'bring back old friends' to rekindle memories and nostalgia of the old times. Or you can rewatch the original. I don't understand that. I mean, every sequel/reunion movie to series fits that description. I'm telling ya, its a good thing nobody said that when the Star Trek movies were being made. "Who needs to see Kirk, Spock and McCoy battling Khan? Watch the episode!" I wouldn't trade the classic Trek movies for anything (even the crummy ones) and as a group all we wanted was the series to come back on a weekly. If you're a fan of the series being brought back - with the original surviving cast - these are something to look forward to. If you're not, then it's "Hollywood is creatively bankrupt" for the umpteenth time. But, I would always pick a continuation/true sequel series to a reboot that just exploits the brand familiarity. Those, I agree, are creatively lazy - unless something truly different is done with them. But then, why not just build your own universe? Back in the foggy memories of the 70's and 80's, it was great when the reunion movie craze was in full swing. Even though most of them turned out like crap because networks insisted they be backdoor pilots with a focus be on spin off characters or the original leads' kids, the whole idea of seeing them again in new stories was exciting. None of my favorite shows are ever coming back because everyone involved is either too old or dead. But I wanted a new Lost in Space, Time Tunnel and classic Battlestar Galactica TV show picking 10 or 15 years later. Even now, I'd love another X-Files or 24 return event series.

Too often it's a case of the magic being gone.
