Will Trent Alexander-Arnold get in? The resurgent Jesse Lingard?

Sergio Ramos has been left out of Spain's European Championship 2020 squad by coach Luis Enrique.

The 35-year-old is his country's most-capped player, with 180 appearances for Spain since making his debut in March 2005.

Luis Enrique confirmed on Monday that defenders Pau Torres, Aymeric Laporte, Eric Garcia, Diego Llorente and Cesar Azpilicueta had been chosen instead.

Go Diego! Another name on the Leeds United internationals board at Elland Road.

Kalvin Phillips from Leeds
Rice and Lingard from West Ham

so TG and Bill should be happy (or not, if they don't like these tournaments)

I hope TAA doesn't make the cut, so he can have a nice summer rest before the start of next season.
Also NOT HAPPY to see Henderson in the squad, as he's only just recovered from injury!!!
Bloody Internationals!!! frown

Squad announcement imminent. Mason Greenwood has withdrawn due to injury so it's 32 cut to 26.

Leeds and West Ham players in there.

We have four right backs - Trippier, Walker, James and TAA.

Only 5 midfielders? Is he going to play with 7 defenders on the pitch?

Some of those listed as strikers will play in midfield.

Perhaps but it still looks short on centre midfielders to me.

England have two friendlies before the tournament. They are against Austria on Wednesday (20:00 BST), before facing Romania on Sunday (17:00).

Dunno if it's just me, but that squad looks painfully weak and lacking any real leaders or experience.
They might surprise us all...or get knocked out by the first half decent team they meet...as usual.

Excluding lingard seems weird, hes just had 1 of his best ever seasons, and squad overloaded with defenders, espec wen rice and henderson cud adequately play centre half if needed.

Saka has had a phenonenal season. Who is he? wink

And if our best striker is that elbowing hyphenated donkey from the bluenoses, we are in trouble.

Is it a good squad? I've seen a lot of matches this year but somehow can't remember what players are good or on form. Is it a well-rounded squad.

Pickford in goal is shite...always liable to fuck up for starters (or end someone's season) mad

I expect I’ll watch these but it’s a while since I remember an exciting England game. I don’t see that squad beating the French, Germans, Dutch, Italians, Spanish or Belgians.

Quarter finals again, then!

I'm so used to working freelance and having access to channels that showed a game almost every day that i've actually started to miss football. I'll probably end up watching any old match now.

Yes ive enjoyed the spreading of prem games n every game live.
Its been the 1 good change due to corona.

Something for them consider in the future.

Espec if capacity stadiums wont return.

If only 10k can watch, then no argument against allowing every game live
