I chose SPELLBOUND (Rózsa), and it arrived on Monday. That's fast for year-end. And it's everything you'd expect. Such a great use of theremin for that otherworldly feeling. I now consider this a companion score to TIME AFTER TIME. Golden Age music in modern sound, the best of both worlds.
I can also report a superficial pleasure: Intrada's hard box with packing material got the thing here in ultra-mint condition. The case and disk are glassy and pure, not a smudge. That and the booklet's satin finish, its state of perfection, give the whole experience an extra something. Collectors know what I mean. New CDs don't always arrive perfect; this one did.
