Margaret Nolan in UK soap opera 'Crossroads' in 1983. She portrayed Denise Paget, mother of Nina, who was almost certainly the first character in British soap opera to have Down’s syndrome.

IN A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, Margaret Nolan played the woman who is found in the company of John's grandfather (Wilfred Brambell) at a casino.

You are correct. All those mop-tops look alike. Changed. (As for the grandfather, he's "a clean old man.")

What is it about "lesser entities" of long-ago decades that stays with us?

Margaret Nolan was strictly a minor player, but I never forgot anything in which she appeared.

Sad that in spite of all her loyalty (and talent and contributions) to the Carry On series, she was never extended so much as a a small-print credit on the posters. Glad to know that she seemed to be okay with how things worked out for her.
