"Did you ever dream about a place you never really recall being to before? A place that maybe only exists in your imagination? Some place far away, half remembered when you wake up. When you were there, though, you knew the language. You knew your way around. *That* was the sixties. [pause] No. It wasn't that either. It was just '66 and early '67. That's all there was."

~Terry Valentine (Peter Fonda) The Limey

...and you're in this thread...because of my brilliant writing style? I don't think so.

Come on, man! Step aside and let Deputy Riley do his thing! He would appreciate a topic such as this.

Every truly great thread becomes a monument to one's self.

I am also of the belief that any thread bump--even an antagonistic post--is a plus.

I'm surprised that Bob DiMucci hasn't gone definitive with a full list of Tarantino knockoffs, but then Bob probably can't stand Tarantino, me, or my topics.

Neither did Daniel Day-Lewis, and he got "The DiMucci Treatment"!

That's putting it mildly, 007!

Young people today seeing "Once Upon a Time..." will say "1969 sure had a lot of lame-ass music, movies, and TV shows!" It'll confirm their belief that the 1960s was an "old people's time"!

Anyone see BAD TIMES AT El ROYALE? A colleague at work raved about it and said he enjoyed its Tarantinoesque vibe.
