Kleo German series about female stasi assassin. Its a kind of 80s german version of Killing eve. Couple irritating characters but overall, its decent. Kleo gets stitched up n sent to prison and once released after the wall comes down, she sets out on revenge. 8 out of 10

Ive got this to watch ram, but what i did see of it, the contemporary rock songs for a ww2 drama just was about as out-of-place and welcome as a turd in a swimming pool. Its put me off tackling the series.

The Patient on Hulu -- very good, low key thriller with Domhnall Gleeson & Steve Carrell. Only 10 episodes, starting out at around 15 minutes each, gradually reaching 30+ . The finale is up next week. Just finished season 4 of The Handmaid's Tale, which we're really enjoying. Over the top at times, but always engrossing and relevant . But damn , they just color grade the f*ck out of it. I know it's downbeat and grim, but someone of the indoor scenes they need to toss the actors a flashlight. Seriously good. I watched The Patient...would love to hear your assessment of the finale. I'm 2 seasons in on The Handmaids Tale, and I too really enjoy it but its dark desaturation of color is too much at times, really adding onto the grimness on the story. But I like the show nonetheless.

Just finished season 1 of Alienist. 2018 Odd title for an early psychiatrist hunting a jack the ripper style killer in New York in 1896. Is quite decent. Its not really gory, its more investigative injury detail during post mortems. 8.3 out of 10. P.s interesting and poignant to see David Warner in 1 scene, in his third last project before he passed in july 2022. Sean Young was in it too, almost unrecognisable.
