hi MV!

Have you ever considered working on a release for the short-lived (13 episodes) TV series Threshold from 2006? Pilot was scored by Jablonsky and remaining episodes were scored by Djawadi. It's one of my grails, has some incredible music!

I hope you might consider this one day!

Thanks for all you do!

I'm still bitter and crushed that show was canceled after 13 episodes!

Me too! It was one of the best shows I had EVER seen, bar none. One hell of an ensemble cast! To this day one of the perfect examples of incredible potential cut short. I was so ecstatic when it was released on DVD though with 5 unaired episodes! It was like Christmas! big grin

We may have to look into it

I just did a Google Image search for "Pure Awesomeness" and this is what came back:

Another mystery solved, you're welcome.

Ok, I realize you're probably joking, but MV has already mentioned that there won't be any Batman scores from LLL this year.

That image is Pure Awesomeness, but also, still no new Bat scores until 2019

Well, this is obviously a clue, knowing how MV is always all like "You know me, I'm all about the clues." But as mentioned, it can't be Batman.

So what then?

The answer, I think, is clear.

Apart from this painting, where else do we see Batman riding a shark? That's right: Batman: The Animated Series Episode #46 "The Laughing Fish." The key here is not Batman, but Mark Hamill himself, who voices the Joker for the eighth time in this episode. Don't believe me? What's Batman holding in the painting? That's right: Luke's green lightsaber. (I know, it's red, okay, but color blindness is a common trait among males, the core demographic of both these fanbases, and red-green color blindness is one of the very most common types. Hardly a coincidence.)

That established, what aquatic-themed film did Mark Hamill appear in that has not yet received a deluxe expansion of some kind?

The answer: Sushi Girl

It looks like we're in for a sweet three-disc expansion. Wouldn't be surprised if it leads the Black Friday charge.

Disc 1: Complete score by Fritz Myers, including Shirley Bassey's "Diamonds Are Forever"
Disc 2: Gabriel Yared's complete rejected score, including all wailing woman outtakes, plus two piano demos from Ennio Morricone from when he was attached to score the film
Disc 3: Hour-long interview (rant) with Mark Hamill drunkenly ripping on Star Wars in the voice of the Joker

Totally agree.

Would it be too annoying if I asked about THE YOUNG INDIANA JONES CHRONICLES yet again?

Certainly not annoying, but makes me cry. Prior to the Disney takeover we were talking to Lucasfilm about a possible collection (doing some of those early video game releases helped). There was a lot of stalling and back and forth. Then, once the news broke of the Disney deal all negotiations ceased.

HOW MANY* Goldsmith titles are currently in the works?

*I'm not asking WHETHER there are any Goldsmith titles in the works, because there always has to be a Goldsmith title in the works.

Why? Intrada can still do them, and as Roger said a few years back, he really wants to. Lucasfilm have clearly shown they are willing.

...another label in the future to get a better version.

I see you've edited the original post.

Gofundme. Etc.

There are too many UNRELEASED, unEXPANDED scores out there to waste time and money on this unnecessary project.

Speak for yourself. Nobody forces you to buy it.

I am waiting for someone to do them properly and won't waste my money on some paper piece of garbage done so poorly as Concord box... and speaking of poor quality box sets: Varese's various boxes packed with some idiotic garbage as sweaters, masks and similar crap that increases the price of their paper sleeves or buying one of their box set featuring half a dozen of scores I had already and 5 more that I have less than zero interest to waste my money on just to get one single score I wanted.

"Properly"?
By whose standard?

Many of us are quite happy with the set.
Only the fanatics want more.

More to the point, what he describes forces a lot of people NOT to buy the score they actually want.
