Not sure if this has been asked/answered previously because i have only skimmed the replies so far.... I noticed that every track on the "film version" of Batman has an astrix, denoting that it is a previously unreleased version. Many of these tracks are represented on the existing album (albiet in a slightly different version as represented in the film). I would have thought that these tracks would be be marked "additional music" or something to that effect. My question is - was the existing album a re-recording of cues used in the film - much like the John Williams 'Jaws' album? Thanks Rick I believe MV Gerhard touched on this. The tracks on disc 1 are denoted with an asterix because they are previously unreleased and to seperate them from their counterpart tracks on disc 2 which were previously released. What will be interesting to find out is whether or not Shawn Murphy remixed the entire score at the time and not just the album, or was just the album tracks themselves. According to Mr Murphy they did end up using some of his last minute mixes for the film, but did not recall which ones. MV

Please tell us what is "better" about the sound of the new Krull release. I've always thought of myself as smart enough not to change washing powders purely on the basis of a claim that "SnowClean Washes Whiter", but here I am actually thinking of buying a re-release of something I already have, based on "It Sounds Better". You'll understand my caution – with 2000 scores in my collection, it could cost a lot of money to upgrade them to the "It Sounds Better" variety every time there's a re-release. Honestly save your money until others on this board and other boards get it in and compare the two. If, by some miracle, the title sells like hotcakes and is close to selling out I will personally set one aside for you until you make up your mind. MV

MV: sorry to add another question to the endless list of questions people keep bugging you with, but when Comic-Con ends, can you give us a rough estimate of how many copies of each are left? I know that you've assured us they won't sell out, but I'm of a curious nature (and my avatar is a monkey too! We're like brothers!). Thanks. I understand your curiosity regarding sales but we do not report sales figures publicly like the studios report box office. That information is solely for the benefit of the record company, the artist(s) and the production company. HOWEVER, should ANY title be close to selling out (fewer than 500 remaining) I will certainly make a public statement. Thank you for understanding. Best, MV PS Love the monkey avatar from Cloudy with a Chance...

And while you're at it, I want complete graphs of the sales and the profit margins for all them releases, displayed with bananas and monkey motif. Anyone know of a monkey poo flinging animated gif? lol MV

Oh, yes.... Probably won't sell 500 copies in a venue that last year saw over 160 thousand people walk through its doors, a venue filled with fans of Tim Burton, Danny Elfman and BATMAN. You're probably right. Yes, those 160,000 will be teeming with film score fans, who's interest extends past the main theme, and who are a willing to pay $20 for "CDs"(what's a CD?). This will sell out....but not at COMIC CON. I revise my numbers to about 1000 sold at COMIC CON. I hear LLL has crates of CDs dropping by parachute into San Diego on an hourly basis. Either that or they're crates of bananas.
