Yes, the source for these new albums will be the Futureland album masters. I actually read somewhere (can't remember where) that UMJ will be reissuing all of Futureland's back catalog. Fan-Freaking-Tastic. Do we know what is brewing at Cinema-Kan currently?

Fan-Freaking-Tastic. Do we know what is brewing at Cinema-Kan currently? Right now, we've got "The Mysterians" in May, "Battle in Outer Space" in June and "Branded to Kill" in July. "Dogora", "Gappa" and "The Retreat From Kiska" are now out-of-print. Looking at Toho's web store, it appears that "Rodan", "Atragon", "Matango" and "Space Amoeba" are now up for grabs. The sets containing those scores are no longer listed. If so, then I wouldn't be surprised to see Cinema-kan tackling them sometime in the future. In addition, the sixth Godzilla Perfect Collection box also disappeared from Toho's web store. It would be nice to have new individual releases of the scores contained within that box. I guess "Godzilla 2000" from the fifth box could be thrown in, but I'm perfectly fine with the 1999 Heat Wave release.

Re-issues of "Rodan", "Atragon", "Matango" and "Space Amoeba" - with Cinema-Kan working their magic would be awesome. Quality label. With the re-issues of the Futureland Godzilla titles, I dont know how much more Godzilla I could take, although as I've said before, the can NEVER be too much Godzilla.

I bought that 2014 Godzilla The Best SHM CD (Universal Music Japan), and that one has a boatload of audio issues, but these new 2024 remastered G-CDs will likely use the previous Futureland audio as the source, so as long as these aren't too loud or bright, they should be OK. That album was slapped together using tracks from various older compilation albums, hence the sound quality being all over the place. Yes, the audio on the 2014 Godzilla The Best SHM CD is all over the place, plus there were many other mistakes on that CD as well, like how did a Mysterians track get on there??? Interesting, so Universal Japan might be reissuing many Futureland CDs, like the various compilation CDs? Do you remember if the source you read confirmed this or was just speculating?

Yes, it would be great if they got their hands on them. At this point, all I really need is the two disc version of "SpaceGodzilla" and complete individual releases of the Millennium scores. I don't really need the Reiwa scores, so I'll leave those be. I have the complete individual releases from the Millenium scores, but not the disc version of Space Godzilla. Are the contents and sound significantly different from the Godzilla Perfect Collection CDs.

I have the complete individual releases from the Millenium scores, but not the disc version of Space Godzilla. Are the contents and sound significantly different from the Godzilla Perfect Collection CDs. If you like the soundtrack for SpaceGodzilla and don't own the earlier Kitty Records 1CD or 2CD set, than definitely pick up the new 2024 CD. I forgot, do you have the Toho Music set? The Toho Music version was a little disappointing sound-wise, it's good, and offers a somewhat different presentation of the score, but the earlier CDs sounded better and more normal, especially the vocal song "Echoes Of Love". I own the entire Godzilla Perfect Collection and almost every Futureland CDs with the exception of Godzilla Raids Again, Godzilla vs the Sea Monster, Son of Godzilla, Godzilla's Revenge, Godzilla vs. Gigan and no version of SpaceGodzilla except for the Perfect Collection. I'll definitely be purchasing the entirety of the new 2024 series. Thanks for the info.

Dunno about the US, but I ordered seven CDs from CDJapan to the UK for £111, which works out at £16 a CD.

The way I understand it, FedEx has a better US network for delivery. DHL is better in the rest of the world.

I picked FedEx. Is DHL the better option? I've almost always have gone with DHL with international shipments due to how fast it is, though FedEx is fast too. In this case, DHL happened to be slightly cheaper. Not to mention that DHL has a perfect record for every single time I ordered from Japan and Europe. I'll be going the way you went Mr. Ostinato.

That album was slapped together using tracks from various older compilation albums, hence the sound quality being all over the place. By the way, Universal Music Japan did in fact release another Godzilla compilation CD in 2021 called Godzilla The Theme (PROT-1300), but this CD is not generally known about today...it was not sold via regular retailers and is only available as a TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE exclusive CD in Japan... https://shop.tsutaya.co.jp/cd/product/4988031430910/ It features artwork by Japanese artist Yuki Nishimoto, and the booklet states that the audio for this CD was taken directly from the Toho Music 50th Anniversary Perfect Collection boxed sets, and I can confirm it sounds much better and more normal than Universal Japan's previous 2014 Godzilla The Best SHM CD. Personally, I think this hard to find 2021 Godzilla The Theme CD makes a nice collectible. Here is another website showing this CD and the track-list... https://vgmdb.net/album/113597
