This is still on regular play in my household. I've also just finished watching the entire run of the series. So enjoyable. Skeletor being baked in a loaf of bread... genius.
Such a shame that the 'Saving the Day' track isn't on the CDs - I'm praying that it turns up on the She-Ra tapes if they ever turn up!
I've started watching She-Ra as well. If LLL found the tapes, they'd have some tricky decisions to make concerning the choice of music tracks for a CD. Do you include the Secret of the Sword score, or the music tracks that were used in the equivalent TV versions? Do you include He-Man tracks, as these play a large part in She-Ra? Do you include the re-synthesised versions of He-Man tracks? Tricky...
Any closer to being a sell out yet, MV? The quicker it sells out, the better the chance of you taking a punt on other Levy material.
She-Ra would be another "instant purchase" for my Shuki Levy fan club here in Italy. I could order 100 copies probably, expecially if it will contain the italian version of the Secret of the Sword theme.

Nope. All has died down. Did really great right out of the gate though. Just goes to show you 3000 units on a high profile title like this is the way to go. It will probably take another 6 months to a year to sell the rest.

I have been promoting this on social media like *crazy* this week. You should be seeing some movement sales wise, judging by the feedback I am getting!

There are She-Ra and SOTS re-synthesised versions of He-Man tracks on this set. Attack Trak, Snake Mountain, Stone statue and few more.
I have been posting like crazy on forums to get this selling again. Hopefully it is having an effect!
Did you try getting someone at Io9 to promote this? Lot's of nostalgic fans there.
I did tweet them but they didn't reply. Plenty of other retweets though, like Harry Knowles, and AICN Anime. That certainly helps. The more followers the retweeters have, the better
Twitter is still proving to be full of people interested in this title. I am getting plenty of retweets. I hope La La Land haven't set up their Twitter account to send email notifications every time they're mentioned, because they're going to have hundreds of emails...

OK, as a hardcore 80s cartoon fan, I am back on the social media campaign trail to get this sold out. I'm told there are approx 200 copies left from the 3000 print run. There were about 500 left 18 months ago, so it could do with a boost. I want to see those last 200 shifted and a 'SOLD OUT' icon on the LLL website. To anyone who was on the fence: Let's get this sold out!
Sold out CDs encourage labels like LLL to do similar projects in the future, which is my ultimate aim here. If they can find the tapes of course!
I have a list of cartoon titles in my head and I'd love to see La La Land release them (I'm sure you other cartoon fans would, too).
I've been posting in every cartoon forum I can find (and also posting about other titles too, like Expert Music's Ulysses set and Intrada's new Duck Tales release). Any suggestions?
They'll eventually sell out. I think selling 2800 copies at a good clip is proof positive that this was a successful release. Leave the 200 for latecomers who weren't aware of the release instead of trying to force them out (and force aftermarket prices up).
