The album on the pic is no doubt the original album programme Goldenthal prepared for WB, but which was never released. I have it too, it's excellent.

as has been said, it reads "complete original motion picture score" in the spine

I think we are reading too much into what might be just a personal collection of Goldenthal cd's. The Batman & Robin seems like a homemade cd.

Well, regardless, it's not surprising that the composer has kept a record/recording of his own work. I doubt that falls in the category 'illegal acquisition of a bootleg'. smile

I bet it's the boot that was made from the DVD rip

There is a bootleg out of the whole recording sessions, with Elliot's voice before each cue.

The most complete we'll get for a while, until some higher ups change at WB.

Perhaps a compromise - in the liners of (what's hopefully a C&C) release, a quick blurb on what would have been in the 40-minute album. FSM's sidebar on the aborted Superman IV album was a perfect way to go - I carved up a playlist out of that and it flowed rather well, imo (yes, in direct contradiction of my C&C thread, but hey, even evil has standards).

THIS.

That's not Elliot's voice. It's - depending on the cue - either Steven's (the conductor) voice or one of the music team members.

And the thread gets shut down in 3...2...1...

I would want every second of the music from the movie if possible (with instructions in the liner notes on how to assemble Goldenthal's album presentation).

Why? The "bootleg" is most likely the photo Elliot himself shared publicly. And no one is saying how to obtain it.

Indeed. No one is exchanging boots here. In fact, isn't the whole 'bootleg' thing a defunct point when the composer himself is just keeping a copy of his own score recording?

The disc clearly says "Complete" on it if you look close.

That art is from the b...t.
