As promised by Zimmer himself, he (or his team) has been in contact with Water Tower regarding the CD-R. So they released a statement:
Just waiting a few months for the CDs to produce would be way to easy... like they did with Game of Thrones Season 8. There was a 1 or 2 months delay but it was not a CD-R. I can only speak for myself, but I don't need a CD on day one. But I'm happy that WTM still does CDs at all (completely random of cause... Zack Snyder's Justice League..) and I hope that they learned from this. What happened to them? That 15 track restriction that only apply on Blake Neely releases, various CD-R disasters... and the worst thing ever happened in filmscore history: they call it SONG!!!! not "track" or "cue"... It was once my favorite Score Label (well.. for two months or so... than I discovered the specialty Labels) but it was.
^ What the hell is up with 15 tracks max for Blake Neely releases?! It totally ruins the listening experience for these new albums. I hardly listen to them, which is a shame cause there is tons of great score on them but it just sound really messy when put into suites. Suites can be great, but not all cues blends well with each other. I guess its a cost thing with mastering or something. But I dont understand why its ONLY for his releases.
I would provide download links of my seperation edits but it's 1) MP3 only and 2) most likely against this forums rules. And yes, a 4CD set containing the JXL Justice League score would be nice!

Yeah most likely against the forum rules Did you edit them all now? Or the Crisis?

Legends 6 and Flight Attendant are currently in work and the last two Arrows will follow.
My interest in You, Riverdale & All American isn't high enough to edit them.
Wow that is impressive! Im almost done with Arrow S7, but its hard work. Specially locating the scenes in order to give them new titles, lol! I kinda gave up

Well.. I only seperate. Track order and Titles are the same as before. It's in the end the same release but with more and longer gabs but also 21 - 32 tracks in total. I need about 2 hours for one album. And the quality of my edits REALLY depends on the material that WTM gave us. And I have no idea of the music in the shows. I think I cutted at least once in the middle of a cue... I would like to see your Arrow S7
but we should move this discussion maybe into a more fitting thread
Zimmer interviewed on WNYC. He talks a good game about serving the film, but from the examples here I cannot imagine wanting to hear the music on records.
