Among the missing material from the first release they can recall off the top of my head: (spoilers ahead) The sand storm sequence (a group of short cues leading up to the main title) Cobb punches Harris (a sting type of cue that De Vol liked to do) Townes' search for Cobb and the buzzards The return of Harris Townes finds Harris and the doctor Several cues during various building sequences A short cue when Dorfman rambles about the history of aviation A short cue after they land at the end I would say it's a minimum of 10 minutes, possibly longer. It's been a few years since last I watched it. Larry Thanks Larry! This is interesting and helpful. Also I'm betting there's a sound improvement to be had as with many other Fox title revisits thanks to new tech; the original FSM album came out over two decades ago! Of course, that's assuming Sean's Flight of the Phoenix guess is correct. Jeff, another reason this probably isn't In Harm's Way (sadly) is that Doug recently wrote this reply on the Intrada forum: http://www.intrada.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8664&sid=fad567558355ff2fdf074f292d0e5e8b Yavar

You have listed those in the order of my interest, Kev! Though any would still be good. Yavar

Don't you all blame me if this isn't the release! And Yavar, you've kind of blown me away - I had no idea the FSM came out that long ago! Seriously, wow.

Does anything even survive for Rear Window? That’s a bigger question than how much space it would take up on a CD.

Yes, it does - see the restored movie and the Universal album issued for Hitchcock's centenary. It would be very short, though, and would involve a variety of licensing issues with the Hitchcock and Crosby estates.
