"It's simple. Whoever returns the bike is obviously the person who stole it. So they don't deserve any reward!" Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (The Danny Elfman & Tim Burton 25th Anniversary Music Box Disc 1/ Varese Sarabande Original Soundtrack Re-Recording Edit) - Danny Elfman
Pee-Wee‘s Big Adventure, based on the title character of the 1980 live stage show, was released in theaters 35 years ago today. It was Tim Burton’s directorial debut, Elfman’s debut as a film composer, which also began their first collaboration of many. The movie was a hit and spawned two sequels (one of which Elfman also scored), and a children television program which aired on Saturdays and lasted for about five seasons. Elfman’s Nina Rota inspired score is one of his more popular and iconic scores. The score itself is full of highlights so there isn’t really a favorite track for me, but only a bunch.
