The Arrowverse shows used to have CD's. but now one bought them... I wish there would be physical releases. During the last 16 months I bought everything on CD and now it's incomplete... I'll make my own CD versions when every show got their albums.

Listened to Crisis four times since yesterday and it's with Flash S1 and Legends S2 one of my favorite Blake Neely albums. 87 minutes of pure epicness... did Blake finnaly ignore the restrictions Water Tower gave him? Oh and Elseworlds is pretty good aswell. Better then Crisis On Earth X wich was a bit dissapointing imo.

Listened to Elseworlds yesterday (will do Crisis today). It was great!

But I am still struggling to get used to these new restrictions Water Tower has given him.
The suites dont blend very well. Sometimes there's even a 3-4 seconds gap between cues in the middle of a suite.
I just dont understand why they have done that. And why it seems to be for Blake Neely releases only...I mean, its all digital!

Listened to half so far. Can't get over how... cheap... synthetic I suppose, all of these scores feel. I get the budget was undoubtedly small but these would sound amazing with full orchestras.

(I still don't like the Supergirl theme)

I understand the runtime limitations because I think his music is can't hold a longer album than ~78 min. (except COIE lol). For example I mostly skip the 2nd CD on Arrow S3 and Flash S1 just because everything I want to hear is on the first one (probably an unpopular opinion in this thread).

But those Suites are just stupid...

agreed. Some of the Mockups/Sketches from Hans Zimmer or John Powell have better quality instruments.
Sometimes I imagine these shows produced by HBO with 10 Episodes per season and much more budget...

Yeah, the total run time I can understand. But why on earth max 15 tracks?? It sounds like a mess sometimes :/

I'm really missing Neely's sound on Superman and Lois; seems like a real missed opportunity for a show that otherwise seems really promising.

I have to disagree actually! I was really sad to hear Neely wouldnt score it.
But after these two episodes, I have already several cues I am hoping will get released! Like, super excited!
I think the score is amazing! Better than most of the later Arrowverse seasons. I feel like most of them lost its "charm" 2-3 seasons ago. Probably when it became too much for him and the other composers was brought in.

I still like it all though. Just not as much as the first 3-4 seasons.

agreed. I think the 2017 albums where the last ones with an wow effect on me... but on the other hand the riverdale S3&4 scores are an huge improvement over 1&2 imo and Flight Attendant is pretty fun aswell. Maybe Blake has enough of the superhero shows and wants to move on. He scores now with Cherri Chung "Kong Fu".

But I hope that the Arrowverse music will come back to it's 2012-2016 glory...

Any news on Supergirl and Legends? Both shows returned for the 6 season on 3/30/21 and 5/02/21. Something tells me that the "soundtrack releases in conjunction with the premiere of each show’s new season" doesn't work that well.
