This is a comments thread about FSM CD: Prophecy

Can I ask those of you who haven't bought PROPHECY yet a favour? Don't buy it. You see, before I knew it was coming out, I'd just placed an order for HELLFIGHTERS (along with BLACK SUNDAY and THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN). And then my wife appeared with the rolling pin, telling me that I'd just spent my allowance (50 Euros every three months) until May. And now I'm a bit afraid that PROPHECY will sell out before then. So could you all hold off until I get my copy? Thanks! (Oh, and don't buy THE SPLIT either. That's another I'm planning on getting in May).

Don't you just hate it when the wife allotted 50 euro/per 3 months allowance runs out?

Don't worry, I don't think any of the Rosenman released by the labels has yet to sell out.

Considering the 1500 Cross Creek is still available, I can say with confidence that Prophecy won't sell out for quite a long time.

FYI you may have heard in the news about the mid-Atlantic states being walloped by record snow...SAE is smack in the middle of this.

Oops, I just sent an email about my order status before I saw this. Please disregard it.

I'm smack in the middle of it too. Everyone says it looks so pretty. I'll post a picture of it after it lays around on the ground for three weeks. Snow is absolutely beautiful after it turns to an ugly gray slush.

The snowstorm is no excuse. I delivered newspapers during the blizzard of '78.

Damn kids nowadays don't know the meaning of hard work.

SAE's offerings on Amazon have this posted:

To quote Cara Williams' character in THE WHITE BUFFALO--

"God D--n this shitty weather!"

The beast turns towards him and swats him into a rock where both the boy and sleeping bag explode into a flurry of feathers. As a kid, the scene was terrifying. As an adult, its an hilarious, off-kilter moment worthy of cheering. After this, the movie turns into a rubber-suit monster fest and never looks back."

The mutant that pops into frame for the shock/laughable ending looks like it was a mask left over from The Outer Limits or even Trek TOS. I swear Iv'e seen it before.

Actually now I've thought about it, it may have turned up later in Swamp Thing.

With Intrada's announcement of MEET THE APPLEGATES, this CD has moved a step closer to me. I'll wait for 1-2 more CD's to complete the order with SAE and then it'll be off they go!
Who's got their copy already?
And how good does it play/sound?

I don't believe anyone has received "Prophecy". The good folks at ScreenArchives have been snowbound and trapped in their mountain cabin without food or water since late January. Frankly I'm becoming a bit concerned.

Remember what happened to the Donner party?
