I actually think Broughton's pilot score is the least interesting score on either album! The main theme is great of course, but I don't find that his pilot score offers too much beyond many variations of the theme. I think McNeely and Debney do more interesting things with his theme in their scores than he ever does in his!

No disrespect to McNeely and Debney, but the Broughton pilot score to me, apart from introducing the Main Theme (which I still think sounds more Sword & Sandals than Outer Space), has its own unique individual voice (Broughton's) while the other scores, undoubtedly, nostalgically enjoyable, play like a greatest hits of Williams, Goldsmith, Horner, Silvestri etc, as per the usual m.o of their composers. My second season set is in transit from Oakland as I type.

Yup, was just about to post this. The biggest fault of these scores is that the composers involved don't have very individual voices (and what they have is often replaced by other composers, especially Williams and Goldsmith). The Broughton score very much sounds like him and I listen to that one the most.

"We might have autographed copies for the first 100 or so orders..." I know, I just wanted to know exactly which order numbers that would apply to; or at least what day those ~100 ran out.

#210811 here, I did get a signed booklet today! If Jay was #210749 then there are at *least* 150 signed copies, if not more.

Not necessarily, because any amount of order numbers in the range could be orders where people ordered other stuff, and not Orville S2.

Hopefully Hulu doesn't cut the music budget.

Hi all Trying to get these out as quickly as possible I do not have an order range for autographs. Joel McNeely and John Debney signed about 180 covers. Basically anyone who ordered it on Dec 22 and Dec 23 will get an autograph MV
