It could be something that before, in the rights hoop was complicated but finally gone thru. Let's say Michael Kamen's Highlander or even something from John Williams unreleased as his early works.
IRWIN ALLENS MOVIE and TV COMILATION THE SWARM Jerry Goldsmith THE TOWERING INFERNO John Williams THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE John Williams WHEN TIME RAN OUT_Lalo Schifrin CITY BENEATH THE SEA Richard La Salle VIVA KNIEVEL! Charles Bernstein THE MAN FROM THE 25th CENTURY etc.
MV had mentioned their 500th release was a "huge" one. Huge can mean the title itself or the number of discs. Therefore I'm thinking more on a collection from a prestigious series/franchise like Indy, Star Wars, James Bond or Rocky.
If it is a single title it must be something really huge, and as much as The Swarm, Born on the 4th of July and Towering Inferno are great, I don't know if MV would call them huge compared with the usual output of the label on the past few years.

LICENCE TO KILL (complete) - MICHAEL KAMEN... in the Christmas batch, maybe?
Summer would be better. It's 30th anniversary is just around the corner this month.
When Neil Bulk was on my podcast earlier this year, he noted that there were no expanded Bond albums currently being worked on for this year. Obviously this can change, but he explained what a complicated and long process it is to get the rights to expand the Bond scores (from EON, from the original album rights holders, from the artists) so it doesn't appear that it'd be a quick turnaround.
FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON, boxset of the series scores by the various composers.
And it's going to be announced next week or the week after, tying in with both the 50th anniversary of the JUly 20th landing and the release of the remastered Blu-ray set of the HBO series (which has a Dolby Atmos track and new visual effects, so its received some TLC).
There. I called it. MV, do I win a prize? I've been waiting for this release for so many years. I wouldn't have dared dream it possible, but after The Thin Red Line set, I figured anything is possible.
