it has taken 3 months just to finalize the the logo the logo? I'd say this sounds like Harry Potter! Actually it sounds like DC Well, they did say Williams is coming... (although they didn't say it's in this batch to be honest)

MV referred to the mystery release in the Universal thread. That rules out most of the guesses thus far, no?

Guys, for 007 wouldn't the logo issues have already been worked out for last Black Friday's release of Die Another Day? I suspect this is something else. Maybe Potter, but then I don't think LLL would be acting like some folks would be unimpressed. Some other franchise or comics label or possibly even a new studio relationship for LLL. Yavar

Maybe Potter, but then I don't think LLL would be acting like some folks would be unimpressed. Well, it would be less than impressive if a Potter score were expanded and it turned out to be Chamber of Secrets, or one of the non-Williams entries. But again, it's most likely Universal. What does Universal own that might have logo difficulties, would probably bode well for the future, but also has less than ideal entries?

The other title is kinda frustrating...not because of the title itself (which some will find awesome, while others will think it's meh), but what it represents as a whole is what will get you guys drooling over I'm going to stick my neck out and suggest maybe... just maybe... Yes! Open the Monty Norman floodgates! But seriously, it could be a Bond title like Licence to Kill—which I'm sure some would find amazing while others would go, meh, wish it was Barry or Arnold or whoever. And it would represent that pre-Arnold Bonds are a-comin' which would most definitely get everyone drooling.

If it's Universal, then there's always a chance that it could be Nigel Westlake's Babe: Pig In The City (which happens to be celebrating a 20th anniversary this year!) A lot of that score ended up on the cutting room floor last-minute; and even of the stuff that was left in the film, not much of it has ever seen the light of day on album (only three short [and beautiful] cues on Westlake's compilation album Shimmering Light). Can't imagine Babe 2 causing so much trouble with album design, though... so this is probably just hopeful speculation on my part!

The "Logo" thing is interesting. Some movies did have two or more logo designs for the same film. I took it more as the studio logo..Warner films sometime use the retro one. If its Bond, you have had several studios with their paws on the franchise..????? Brm

And as solium says, some movies have multiple logos. I think the "others will think it's meh" rules out most of the big guesses here. I mean, sure, anybody can find anything "meh," that's the nature of things, but if it were Potter or Bond, I really don't think that would be how MV presented it.

Yet he also said it's pretty special and that what it represents as a whole will have everyone drooling. So I think it's reasonable to believe it's part of a major franchise or series. Die Another Day, actually, would have fit this description to a T, come to think of it.

Didn't MV confirm - in this thread, or the other - that an expanded MOONRAKER was coming?

Didn't MV confirm - in this thread, or the other - that an expanded MOONRAKER was coming? No. But Mr. Marshall confirmed it was coming on April Fool's Day. So there's hope!
