I love projects like these! I have spent almost two years now ripping every single cue from ALL the Buffy episodes! Because luckily the audio channels are 100% dialogue free. Its around 50 hours long! lol!

Been rewatching this with your cue sheet. Most of the cues are extremely.short in.the film or dialed in and out There is.no way a isolated score could be arranged into a listenable album.compared to available.cues on CD. Brm
Heresy. I could listen to the isolated score all day long. I agree that Vangelis' official album is an agreeable listen (and would make a great disc 3 in a La La Land set) but it misses far too much fine music. Vangelis is a genius and Blade Runner is his masterpiece.

It's in my top ten scores of all-time. The 79 minutes home made version. me and a colleague made has been constantly playing since I got it.
The only way it could be better is if " Morning at The Bradbury " were included! Ben
P.s tracks like BICYCLE RIDERS are only a few seconds in.the film#
There is Much.more music on CD than on the film soundtrack.
Would be great to see a definitive edition, it still is my favorite Vangelis score. Fantastic movie, great music. But will we ever see such a release? doubtful

BUFFY is 5.1?!
FIFTY HOURS!!!#????
Yes it is!! The remaster! At least there was one good thing about it (hoping that Angel gets a remaster as well now!)
Ripped around 1600 cues. All seasons has between 7-8 hours of music (well except season 1 which has around 3 hours and 14 minutes)

Did they improve picture quality? The DVDs were incred3 grainy.

There's a HUGE debate online everywhere about the Buffy remaster! All over youtube, facebook, petitions, you name it. Most tech fans hate it. Specially because its now in 16:9 (which is not what Joss intended!!!! lol!) but also because some scenes dont have the right "filter" or light/darkness (whatever its called). But to me, I'm not THAT "picky" and I really really love it (I will get banned from the verse now!). Most of it is awesome crystal clear HD and it looks AMAZING! I had actually stopped watching the show because I just couldnt deal anymore with the super bad picture quality and the lack of 16:9 on my huge HD tv. But watching the remaster is like watching a brand new show (except the CGI stuff. They didnt work on those, so the pic becomes a bit blurry). I love it! The sound is super and luckily the score is VERY rippable! No dialogue at all. Except chatter and such in public scenes and some sfx during action scenes, but I can live with that. Specially now when there wont be released more.
Really sorry OP. Didnt mean to hijack your thread and your excellent work!
How does a Blade Runner thread turn into a Buffy discussion? It's a strange world sometimes.
Uhm, from the top of my head:
- Rutger Hauer from Blade Runner was also in the original Buffy movie as Lothos - In the episode "Seeing Red" Andrew calls Jonathan a "skin job," a reference to Blade Runner.
