Will this be the first CD release of a Komeda score? The guy did over 50 films through his short career but most of them have faded into obscurity.

I don't know. I've never heard of the guy.

On a side note, I guess MV has stopped doing the pre-announcements on the FSM board. Maybe he sticks to Facebook for that and only does he announcements here when they're actually up for sale.

Hmmm...but is this the COMPLETE score, or just various releases combined? After so many rehashes of the same incomplete score, I'm leary about getting my hopes up. I figure the complete score would be 33 minutes, the LP was 26 minutes, extra cues 10 minutes, so 70 minutes sounds right.

ROSEMARY’S BABY
Music by Christopher Komeda
This definitive presentation of the Rosemary’s Baby score comes to you courtesy of La-La Land Records, Paramount Pictures and Universal Music Enterprises. Jam-packed with over 70 minutes of music this fantastic cd features the original soundtrack album, the film score, source music and a few bonus tracks.

Any best guesses as to when the "Boldy Go" release will be officially announced? I would assume "soon" and "right around the corner."

Wasn't there a thread about this earlier? Seems to have vanished....

Its release date, near as we can tell, is June 5.

Does this mean that the title is usually announced on the release date?

Jason, thanks for the link. My thread search skills are significantly diminished.

Well... Looks like LLL will be getting another order from me... MOMMIE DEAREST is a long time coming. Henry Mancini's main theme is just gorgeous. For ROSEMARY'S BABY... absolutely terrific news. Cannot wait.

Seeing as how we are talking ROSEMARY... how about releasing the tv movie score to LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO ROSEMARY'S BABY by Charles Bernstein. Goofy movie with a very creepy score by CB.

...I sincerely doubt you'll find any LLL titles there. If you do, let me know.

Don't worry 'bout it. wink I do hope another company puts a bunch of their soundtracks out like Varese did in local stores for cheap. It'd be great!

Well, not so great for the company that has to unload excess stock…

D Day indeed. About when can we reasonably expect to see cover art? This is one of those releases that will have me watching the clock, hitting "refresh" and getting ready to blow my order out the door!

If you're referring to the June 5th release, the announcement will most likely be made one week before on May 29th with artwork and track listings on the 5th.
