The Mancinis were instantly ordered.

Is there a reason why the previous cd release of Christmas hasn't been mentioned yet (not only by Quartet but in this whole thread).
Is there "something" with the company Singular Soundtrack (coincidentally I've long thought that my copy was a Quartet release until I realized that it was a different label)

Singular Soundtrack was Quartet's old name.

To me; SANTA CLAUS: THE MOVIE is seriously the Holy Grail I have secretly been waiting for, and I have also lost hope, in believing that this wasn’t going to happen! My Holy Grail prior to this was The Box set featuring all 4 Superman Scores, and I have gotten that! But for “this” to happen, has surpassed my wildest dreams! I am 35 years old, and I am so thrilled to have this released. Santa Claus is just as important as any “symbol” out there, (if not more) and the movie was fantastic, a great pity that the public could not appreciate the message that the film stated – “The world is a different place now” and it sure has changed since 1985! But, here we are now, in 2012, and despite everything, I can still look at the positive aspects that modern technology has brought us, from the complete scores to “Star Trek – The Original Series”, right down to a 3 – Disc Set of SANTA CLAUS THE MOVIE! This will certainly be the best Christmas Yet!
Merry Christmas! And by the way, THIS IS the Soundtrack that is the highlight of the entire year for me! YES – THE BEST RELEASE OF 2012!

Thanks QT for going through the trenches to get this out, all of us together will try to get the word out and get this in more peoples hands. Many folks haven't heard of the movie or the score so they are like, what? The Tim Allen film? I can't tel you how many times I've had to correct people on that. This is, one of the best Christmas themed scores I've ever heard, hands down, I'd put this above John's Home Alone scores.

I am one of those who has never seen the movie nor heard the score. I put the Home Alone movies on a very high perch when it comes to Christmas music. If this is even close to those I will be happy.
Consider it ordered Quartet.

Revenge of the PP (say it out loud for a giggle) is a very exciting release. Quartet has impeccable taste in '70s/'80s comedy scores from some of the greats. Bravo!!!

Had tried to only order Santa Claus, but in the end I couldn't resist the lure of Panther & AFTHOTWTTF which ties with Into The Woods as my favourite Sondheim. Its those blasted limited numbers, I got burnt and missed the previous Panther.

I ordered both AFTHOTWTTF and the Pink Panther cds. Santa Claus will have to wait a bit, but I will be ordering a copy as soon as I can..

This truly is one of the best releases of the year in my books - and by gad that's saying a lot! After the Singular release I doubted we'd ever see a complete one, so what an unexpected joy this is big grin

Sure wish Amazon uk would be carrying this as they seem to deliver to Canada faster than anybody, which is very bizarre.

Thanks so much Quartet and all the best of the season to you!

Fabulous. I have never heard Mancini's SANTA CLAUS score, but the samples have me convinced this is a must-have. What a treat to get Ken Thorne's underscore for FORUM. That has been a favorite of mine for years! Both ordered!

I saw Santa Claus: The Movie when I was a kid, but not anytime since. I didn't realize the score was by Mancini or that it is as good as it is. This one is definitely going on my list of titles to buy.

Wow, right out of left field and ordered immediately. (While I'm still mulling over the ST box)
I remember the darker unreleased parts of the score being very similar
to Lifeforce.

Btw it,s limited Limited edition of 1000 units.

Nowhere on the Quartet site is that stipulated. At the end of the track listings for each album, Quartet lists Forum as 1000 copies, and Panther as 1500 units. There is no notice at the end of the track listings for Claus.

Santa Claus is unlimited. Quartet Records has confirmed this on Facebook. Hopefully they will ship the CD very soon. Can't wait to get it.
