27 posts and still no long-haired-curly-youngster-entering-the-room gif? I thought it was prescribed by law now that each and every thread must include it at least once.
Someone mentioned that there was no new music on cd 1, but there is in fact some new stuff- especially "No Complaints", which brought a huge smile to my face when I sampled it... I forgot about this cue and always wanted it... and "The Jewelry"- isn't this unreleased? Awesome release.

"No Complaints" was put together with the cue "Night Visitor" on the Rhino release. And "The Jewelry" was called "Contacting the Other Side" on he Rhino release.
It's the same technique but it nowhere sounds exactly the same. Williams used a much deeper tone.
I wouldn't say Williams used a deeper tone really. The mix is clearly different, more so responsible for changes in the way the sound is perceived. You could say what I meant to imply was also that the "technique" used was exactly the same. So really there isn't any major disagreement here.
The sound on the Rhino disc is pretty lousy, so I'm very much looking forward to the remaster. The LP version is a very worthwhile addition, there are some different choices there.
Ordered, of course, along with A Man Called Horse and North Dallas Forty.

"North Dallas Forty" is a really outstanding score!

What is wrong with the sound on the Rhino? Have not listened in a long time, but I recall liking the sound.
Wow, not one person mentioned the little bonus from The Prize? Thankfully it's in good quality so (pending listening to the samples) I can order this new album safely.
Looking at the track times, it appears the LP program is somewhat different from the score, track timing wise. Are there any actual alternates or is it just a cut-n-paste job?
