Based on projections made by using AAC files of the OST converted to WAV and imported into Audacity, I have been able to create of Wave form of what Life Is A Dream WILL look like on the new LalaLand release.

Clearly there is far to much clipping and harmonic distrortion going on here.
So I want my money back and demand a repressing!

ST 5 is something I've been waiting for! This is a grail for me and I can't wait to get it. I may drive to LA just to pick up my copy and give hugs to Matt and MV, and even Lukas!!

Nimbus III is in the Prologue, the sha ka re theme beginning with a four note motiv (the first three the same as the "note down and back again" from LORT) played by the
strings. It drops out of the growing wind and heart beat sounds, very short.

That's "The Mind Meld" surely. The "Nimbus III" cue plays before that (from the Paramount logo) presumably...?

He's making a joke at the expense of those awful people who mucked up the Conan release thread.

HA HA! It's funny you mention that. Back in Jan when I was planning our schedule I had 3 x-mas themed soundtracks planned for release, but only one of those original 3 made it in time for this years batch -- Batman Returns. LOL

Man with Star Trek 5 being released this has made my year. I was hoping too that sometime or another one of the labels would release Home Alone's complete score is a nice addition. I don't mind Hook not being with this batch, I guess it's a matter of time. smile

Star Trek 5's complete score is one I've been wanting for a very long time....I can't wait! smile

Wow... this is fantastic news! All ordered! big grin

With Poltergeist on the way too, this just keeps getting better and better, and a special mention to Star Trek V. The film might have misfired, but I've always thought Goldsmith's score was great and still cannot believe I'm finally going to get it complete.

Thanks MV.

Remember, the 20th Anniversary of Home Alone comes before the 20th Anniversary of Hook. wink

MV, in the other thread when someone asked what to expect today, you said, "Lots of boobies."

I didn't know you were referring to the three-breasted cat lady in the Paradise City saloon. smile

I've already posted the news over on the Trek BBS and sent a tip to the guys at TrekMovie though I'm sure they knew about this already.

Now off to the shopping wilderness known as Black Friday.
