Recent American Werewolf in London should include the CD with the score?

There was also a special fluffy DVD edition of Bathory including 2 CDs of otherwise entirely unreleased score.

The Arrow limited editions of Nekromantik and its sequel had exclusive soundtrack CDs. The Arrow UK LE Blu-ray of Deep Red also had an exclusive soundtrack CD

I found the two bonus tracks on YouTube. They don't sound like anything I remember from the movie. I should watch it again one of these days.
I guess the original recordings are still unreleased. I wish we could get them someday. The album is still a great re-recording though. The first two tracks were combined into one originally, otherwise tracks 1-9 are identical to the original album.

The Imprint booklet states: "This exclusive new compact disc edition included with Imprint's release of the film has undergone a 2023 remaster by Colin Towns, who has enhanced the program with the inclusion of 2 previously unreleased cues (Tracks 10 & 11) which were mixed in October 1978, but not included in the film or as part of the original album release."

Ah, there we have it, thank you very much! So they seem to have been music inspired by the film and recorded for the album, but I can see why they had been left off. They don't evoke the film that much.
"The Haunting of Julia" really deserves a score release of the actual film tracks. It would be great if that eventually happened one day.

The 40th anniversary Blu Ray set of The Man Who Fell to Earth contained a single disc version of the music that John Phillips created for the soundtrack. It contains two tracks that were exclusive to this set.

The UK Blu of XTRO had a special edition with a CD of the Harry Bromley Davenport score (previously only on LP). It's not a great score, but it's nice to have it.

Umbrella Entertainment Australia has just released another edition of the 1980 Aussie cult classic The Chain Reaction starring Steve Bisley. The release marks the first time Composer Andrew Thomas Wilson's pulsing synth score has been released on CD. The soundtrack was only previously available on vinyl, originally on 7 Records, then on a terrible sounding edition from Dual Planet records. Lord knows where they got their master?
Despite being touted as remastered and sounding better than the Dual Planet edition, Umbrella's CD is still no match for the crispness and deep bass of the original 7records LP. Could even be some reversed channel issues going on? I will have to re-check.
Umbrella has a history of releasing soundtracks with a lot of their special edition Blu-ray releases including Turkey Shoot,
Long Weekend, Stone, Man From Hong Kong and others.

There is lot of Japanese DVDs/Blu-Ray which include enclosure soundtrack CDs (mostly anime titles).

But the prices for those (mostly box sets) are sometimes insane, but still I am glad that i can get music in CD format.

P.S. Recently got Berserk Golden Age Arc MEMORIAL EDITION box set with 3CDs of Shiro Sagisu amazing music, lot of orchestration done in collaboration with Masamichi Amano.

No one seems to have mentioned The Third Man with its famous theme. The Blu-ray Collector’s Edition includes the Silva Screen soundtrack CD.

There is lot of Japanese DVDs/Blu-Ray which include enclosure soundtrack CDs (mostly anime titles).

Lots of video games too. The only way to get Eastward, my favorite score of 2021, on CD is via the Japanese collector's edition (the American release came with a BOARD GAME instead!). Likewise Stray, the cat game, which came in a Japan-only edition with a 3-disc set of soundtrack and score.

Didn't The Wild Bunch and Enter the Dragon have, at one time, exclusive CDs in collector sets? Might have been VHS though...

Tangentially related: the collector's edition of the Xbox game TURNING POINT: FALL OF LIBERTY contained a CD of the score by Michael Giacchino.

Not sure about being completely "exclusive", but some of the rarer ones I have are:

"The King and the Clown" - Korean film - limited edition DVD boxset came with a soundtrack CD.

"Silent Mobius I and II" - Japanese Anime - limited edition DVD boxset came with a soundtrack CD (I think only for the first movie, but it may have been for both). [Edit: This box set contains both Soundtracks -- 2 CDs).

I have the Chariots of Fire digipack which comes with a "bonus four-song sampler" CD -- which is merely the Side A program of the original album (the Side B "inspired by" suite is missing).

I doubt it's very collectable tho -- I found it at Dollar General!

E.T.20th Anniversary DVD/CD set. In addition to the CD, the DVDs feature the '82 theatrical cut and the '02 cut. The latter cut is still not available in either HD or UHD Blu Rays. The '02 cut also has a live-performance concert audio track.

Obviously, never is a very long time, but I don't expect the 2002 "Special Edition" to be put back into circulation. Spielberg regrets it now.
