Nothing more tacky than a Knobby-Know-All being a DICK about random guesses on a FILM MUSIC CHAT BOARD cos he's been made privy to some 'inside info' for once.
I'd kill for a properly expanded Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (one not a part of a $$$ box set and with all the new and bonus tracks properly sequenced). Its a much richer, thematic score than its usually given credit for being and is one of Elfman's mose dense. The film versions tended to be mixed differently or are otherwise often alternates and I find the CD versions quite inferior (especially the Main Title, which has an added layer of rhythmic electronics in the movie). I'd be fine getting that score without the songs if there were any kind of rights holdups.
Of course the Summer School comment was a joke, punctuated by a laughing emoji. As others seem to have understood, it was just a reference to MV's comments about the recently-released Rusted Wave CD (which I still haven't received, dammit!).

Someone else did mention this upthread. It’s definitely high on my list of favorite Elfman scores from the era. No idea what potential there is for expansion, but the original CD release felt pretty generous. If there’s substantially more to hear, I’d be all for it.
