Rankin Bass Box Set

Yes - great shout. I'd love Maury Laws' beautiful The Wind in The Willows. Gorgeous work, and a lovely title song with Judy Collins vocal.

I don't care if these are released on CD, just as long as they get released:

Tuomas Kantelinen - Territoriya
Manuel Riveiro - La Sombra De La Ley
Bartosz Chajdecki - Belle Epoque
Basically all of Federico Jusid's unreleased stuff (High Seas, Cathedral By The Sea, Tiempos de Guerra, etc).

Lots I’d like to list but if we’re just going with one then, for completeness’ sake, I’ll pick Danny Elfman’s The Woman in the Window.

Pick just one for fun. The ONE you really would like to see happen.

Mine is definitely,

THE SECRET WAYS by Johnny Williams!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, let me get this straight, Zooba - We have to "pick one just for fun" (I used inverted commas because they're your own words), right? Then you say "The ONE you really would like to see happen". You put the word ONE in capital letters. Could this mean that you want us to pick only "ONE", perhaps? You then state that yours is THE SECRET WAYS. That's only one title, and it hasn't been released before in any form. It's also more than zero titles but less than two.

I think I get it. If that's the case, I'm gonna say THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR, by Gil Mellé.

And why not an expanded STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE? Or some 007s while we're at it?

Zooba:

I respect and endorse the limitation to "just one". And I hope this is one that actually could happen:

The Rescuers
songs by Carol Connors, Ayn Robbins, Sammy Fain, Robert Crawford
musical score composed and conducted by Artie Butler

Ditto for The Rescuers! And nobody better say "two" tracks were released from the film.

The Postman complete score by James Newton Howard
YESSSSSSSS!
Preferable with better sound...the original album is so muffled

ONE? Lord.

Keep in mind when I post my choice, probably a dozen or more titles were vying for this one slot, so...

"Darker Than Amber"
Composer: John Parker

After a brief search, I found what might be one of the last times I made a list of unreleased wanted titles. It's really out-of-date.

Fortunately, I can say there aren't many wish titles that are COMPLETLY Unreleased, with two exceptions.

Rock and Rule (1983) score and songs. Surprised this one hasn't happened yet, even by the majors given the "pop status".

and

The Visitor (David Arnold)

Thought of another one...
Return of the Living Dead (showcasing The Trioxin Theme) by Francis Haines

You and I brother. I asked MV about this and he said he had no idea what it was. The score/songs will likely never be released because of rights issues among the performers. Who knows if the sessions exist for the score.
