A lot I didn't like about the trailer, but I do have to say that quad drone trap makes total sense and I think would totally fall into line with what Egon may have done, if he was still alive -- utilize practical technology.
Peter. He wanted to die in the third film a couple decades back, and come back as a ghost, but they didn't see eye-to-eye over that, and he held up the film for years until we lost one of the actors. So, that third film never happened.
I can picture it now: Bill in the meeting, again wanting to be killed off, but finally talked into doing the first film to establish the characters (and deal with Egon's death, so not two characters dead) and told they'll kill him off in the second one.
Well I'm glad SONY is doing the CD, and Sony as a company understands the value and need of physical media - as it's still very important in Japan - happy that they are still taking on doing stuff for Disney.

Early impressions (via the "Ghostbusters" fan page Spook Central) mention that Marianelli's "Frozen Empire" score is more or less another adaptation score heavily utilizing Elmer Bernstein's material. This isn't a surprise for me due to Peter Bernstein's involvement again. I liked the "Afterlife" score because it was an Elmer Bernstein homage (even the original "Summerville" theme was an homage to Bernstein's style) so this sounds good to me, especially if they work "Dana's Theme" into it. My only gripe is how - likely due to contractual reasons, I know - Elmer Bernstein's name isn't included with the new composer(s) on the main credits.
