Back to Conan- I love that Chris got the rights to use the original artwork from the movie. Epic!

This and the "Independence Day" cover look absolutely fantastic. I mean, I'm all about the score itself and don't worry about covers much, but these really look great.

Did someone say artwork?!?

Amazing amazing cover art!

Have you pre-ordered your copy of "Conan the Barbarian in Full Score" yet?!?
The books are due to be back from the print finishers tomorrow, and following a check to ensure no printing issues will ship later this week.

So this was just delivered. The box looked like it had been trampled by the stampeding cattle out at the McKendrick place. There was a note from the USPS saying that they were sorry that the item had been damaged in shipping taped to it (but no offer to reimburse me), so I was very apprehensive in opening the box. Luckily, the book had survived with no damage at all. It looks really great. There's a nice introduction from Zoë Poledouris-Roché and the cover is quite vivid. It also includes the score for the film version of Las Cantigas de Santa Maria.
Now to sit down and listen to the music while following along in the score....

Glad it survived, the USPS can be pretty annoying - I've had books rolled to fit into the mail slot...

Good reminder though about this score! I forgot it was available so I'll be looking into it again. Although unfortunately I missed the CD release...

The Intrada album isn't out of print, only out of stock. I'm sure they'll be restocking on it. They have multiple times before.

Yeah, I have a Takemitsu score that is all crumpled because the mailman shoved it into the mailbox. Mostly they do a good job, I have to say.

Glad this post took a positive turn. I read the opening with a sinking feeling. I try to pack the book as securely as possible without adding unnecessary weight (and cost). Unfortunately there are still people out there who have no respect for these packages and that's outside my control. Should anyone actually have an issue please don't hesitate to contact me, I take customer service very seriously!

Looks like ASMAC will be doing one of their Zoom events with you, Chris, on July 9th, does that sound right?

Sorry if I stressed you out. I think you must have done a great job of packing it for it to have survived whatever disaster befell it. The book had no damage whatsoever. I'm guessing the bubble wrap was the last line of defense that saved it. As always, thanks for your work!
