Glory, Red Heat or Field of Dreams please.

Is there any music missing on these releases?

From Glory, yes! Some nice cues too.

Any examples? A while back, I posted a very different sounding "Charging Fort Wagner". So, that could be an alternate for instance. I haven't seen the film in a long time, and I've never seen the whole thing (a bit too cloying for my taste).

Glory has a significant action cue that wasn't even used in the film (and wasn't on the soundtrack).

Is there a clip of this cue available?

I felt like I read this somewhere, I cannot find it now.
But is there going to be a few more copies of Sleeping With the Enemy expanded?

What about First Knight?

Early August

Hi MV. Can you please let me know if you have an idea of when The Thin Red Line will be back in stock? I think in the more recent Back-In Stock thread it was listed as TBD for this year.

Same question on Batman: The Animated Series Vol. 1. Way back in an earlier Back in Stock thread from I think January, I think that one was also listed as a TBD for this year.

Thank you!

One of the missing cues not mentioned yet is for the "Glory, hallelujah" scene where Shaw reads the proclamation from the Confederate Congress about the danger the men face if they're caught, then walks out the next morning to find every member of the regiment standing at attention.

Starts @ 2:41 here:

It's a goosebump moment. GLORY is my favorite score and the album is perfect in every way. While IMO it's hard to call the missing cues essential, I'd be first in line for an expansion.

I'll add my voice here as well. GLORY is my top most-wanted expansion. While the original album is fine, it could benefit so much from a re-master with today's superior tech. GLORY falls as one of the most important scores to me. I was introduced to the movie and its score by my high school Civil War teacher, who was trying to get me to pursue a degree in history and get into the hobby of Historical Reenacting. He had worked on the film, and even gave me his copy of the shooting script. While I already had a few soundtracks (mostly Star Trek and Star Wars), this one opened a whole new world to me and made me explore other works from the different composers as well.

GLORY is a hugely significant movie in historical circles, and I can think of at least 3-4 dozen people who'd snatch a rerelease of this score in a heartbeat. Not because their soundtrack collectors, but because of of the profound impact the movie (and its score) has made to them. And that's just the people I know here in Ohio.

I'm salivating for a newly remastered, even slightly expanded, Glory or Field of Dreams. I love those movies and whenever I rewatch them I realise again how much I miss James Horner in this world.

Deleted my previous comment. I posted incorrect info. Nevermind.

...Sleeping With the Enemy expanded?

That is Long gone

ok, thanks anyway

Hey, Ado, maybe try this place before Ebay shtups you: https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/3531182?ev=rb

The notion that every one of these jumps the $100 line once they go out of print isn't true if you poke around.

Thanks, I always assume that they are crazy high.
Yes, I just missed this one

Im thinking the Horner release might be Jumanji, all his other 1995 scores have received expansions (Apollo 13, Braveheart, and Casper), I would hope for a release of Sneakers or Willow expanded before Jumanji expanded

Sneakers Complete!

Basically the same question as for the other Horner scores.

Yes, there's 20 something + minutes missing I believe plus some source music. There was a topic on it.

How about a soundtrack to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Oliver Stone's "The Hand"? Shout Factory has just released it on Blu-ray for the first time. Unfortunately only in stereo. I was hoping for 5.1 mix like "Wolfen", also from 1981.

It wouldn't be a surprise batch if you knew it was coming.

The surprise was that we all thought it was sold out/opp.

MV, if the next releases are on 17 August, does that mean no flyer on 1 August?

Thank you for keeping us updated and really appreciate assisting us those who live outside USA on postage savings by reduced releases per month, it all helps.

DUH!!!!!
But, spoiler alert, that doesn’t answer the question IF WARRIORS will be replenished in AUG.

That last known post said AUG, but schedules can change without warning. wink
