I have a few questions, since I haven't gotten anything from Varese in years: Are you saying they use a cardboard mailer or a paper package - I'm reading both here and so it makes no sense - which is it, be specific why you would find a cardboard package flimsy, should that be what they're using. How much do Varese charge to ship a single CD. Two? Three? Do you order single CDs from Amazon? How do they arrive and in what packaging?

I have emailed Varese through their shipping company as directed on their website . THEY RESPONDED: "Sorry for the inconvenience. We will be sending.you a replacement CD shortly. Sorry AGAIN for any inconvenience" . Picture taken surreptitiously after Varese staff member sent out a- mail response:

This problem could be solved if NAXOS would just keep their MULES out of the mail room.

I can only speak to a recent order I received from them containing Raggedy Man and some other title that eludes me at the moment. It was mailed in one of those thin, cardboard envelopes, not a cardboard box. If, say, paperwork where placed in one, it would pretty much be flat. The bigger the item, the more likely the cardboard will bulge a little in the center. Both of my CDs where placed in there will no padding or bubble wrap of any kind. As it were, I was one of the lucky ones who did not incur much damage, just a small crack in one of the cases, no damage to the discs or booklet.
