Next year is the movie's 25th anniversary(!), so it'd be a good excuse for a Varese Deluxe presentation.

Love this score AND the several cues that were re-used to great effect in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea episodes.

Despite my (obvious) adoration of the original, I was more than pleased with both the film and score for the sequel...
It's unlikely, but maybe someday we will get an opportunity to see the original 4-hour cut.

4-hour cut?  . My behind hasn't quite yet recovered from when I viewed the film in a theater two years ago.

My behind was happy enough to sit though it 3 times in an IMAX theater with incredibly sound coursing through my body. I would be ecstatic to have that opportunity again with the longer version.

Great! I enjoyed the film as well, but I think I would've been more comfy standing up at the Cine I saw it in.
