BIRTH - music by Alexandre DESPLAT


Not gonna lie. I'm no fan of Desplat and frankly I still don't get the "genius" behind the "master of the orchestra", the so-called "subtle themes" (so subtle in fact they may be said to hardly exist) and the girly waltzes. Not my cuppa, but hey producers don't hire him to meet my esthetics. Theme is somewhat clever, but it doesn't really go anywhere. 4/10 (IMNSHO)

Edit: why the heck did they put an accent on the E in Alexandre? That is defo NOT French.

Yes, complete "composed score" on discs #1 and the first part of #2, a wealth of alternates on the remainder of #2, and the original album + more alternates on #3. It's a gorgeous set.
