I haven't seen Remote in 25 years, but if there's enough music to fill a CD, sounds good.

I suspect Roger would have mentioned it if it was possible to remove. When Intrada released the similarly UMG-owned LP of Rosenman's 9/30/55, they weren't able to remove the dialogue.

I'm sure you know Intrada didn't released 9/30/55, but it was Varese.

I agree Roger's words "straight reissue of the original LP" and "that's all there was" imply exactly this.

Plus he's also using the word "legendary" to define it, so...

From Doug:

Come this Tuesday, November 13, Intrada greets you with two new CD releases to add to your (hopefully) growing library of soundtracks. One CD features music by a prolific composer who boasts a very large number of soundtrack releases to date. The other CD comes from an Academy Award-winning composer with an even larger, in fact, formidable array of soundtrack albums in the marketplace. We just made the CD collections of these two composers a little bit bigger this week! Artwork, contents and sound samples will be posted here Monday evening, November 12. Orders begin shipping the following morning.

Yup my brain though Varese and my fingers somehow typed Intrada for the recent Rosenman. Oops!

The recent clue update seems to contradict the earlier clue or am I crazy? Seems another Horner coming?

Doug's clues still fit Band (unfortunately) and Barry.

Do you have a pressing need to buy every single release that it's really such a big deal they are releasing stuff you don't like?

And?

I mean, I know that Intrada's the only label still putting out soundtrack releases. I sure wish there were other labels that released decades of Williams and Barry scores, but we can't always get what we want.

That's what you call "word salad".

Make it clear no LABEL churns out Barry or Williams if they come its a bonus, I like Band & what Intrada have done, Terror Vision, Arena quality scores, if Band's relationship with Intrada is easy I'm all for it.

I love Richard Band's scores, and yes, I welcome another new CD release with his music!

80s, Bronco Billy, MWWW, Lone Ranger.

90s, Cool Running's - Mario Bros or Turtles, they all seem like family ad-movies.

I hope Intrada will release a Golden Age score set akin to the Franz Waxman Set, as they did last year, before the end of 2018!

I bet a lof of people heard about Super Mario Bros... Cool Runnings would mean there would be two oscar winners and not just one. Both would be certainly far more interesting than 2564th ultra cheaply produced Band score.

I’m all up for saving money since Intrada quenched my thirst with Balto, but if they’re going to release crap, they should at least offer variety beyond Band so ya’ll have other things to complain about! razz

I will never understand why people piss and moan when a score by ANY composer is given a release by our labels!!
Have we really gotten to that level of entitlement (rhetorical).
If it is another new release by Richard Band, so what.
He must have his collectors. Soundtrack fans must enjoy his music, otherwise Intrada (who've been in business what, now, 30+ years) wouldn't stick it out.
I want every Intrada release to be either Broughton, Holdridge, Eidelman or any other of my fave composers, but it's not gonna happen. Nor should it.
Get the fuck over yourselves and go buy or listen to something else.

Straight reissue of the LP. Didn't The Legend of the Lone Ranger LP only run 26 minutes?

Yes, and 3 minutes of that is the William Tell overture.

Even so, it's a very good, strongly thematic LP with a nice mix of adventure and romance. Just a pity the folks who created the original album didn't reach out to make a longer album. They easily could have, but they didn't. Hey ho. Or is that, Hi ho?

Cheers

Stephen, what are you basing this on?
