Hi gents,

If you'd like to hear how I've edited the cues for the first two discs (the isolated score essentially) a fellow fan made slide shows for every cue, which I uploaded to youtube. Here's the playlist:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK-mW1a6fQ_tMGs13UXeO2f_QG8-ly80R

Not perfect sound quality of course, but gives you an idea of how this would flow.

Rachael's Song was composed but not used for the scene where Roy finds Pris' body.

Whaaaaaat?! I always thought it was an album track like "Blush Response" et al.

Outstanding jkruppa! I've loved what I've heard so far and appreciate the details for the tracks. I'll give this a proper listen later tonight.

Great stuff here.

I would love to know how to assemble the official 3CD set into film order, and what tracks are non-film (is it just disc three with the new stuff?).

Such a bummer that 3CD set STILL didn’t include the prologue/main title. Argh!

Yeah but....
With all the bitching and moaning V has released a good amount of great material.
His album arrangements of BLUES, TALES + WOUNDED are far more concise and musically coherent.
If you have any version9 of the OFF WORLD and the official release you are pretty well set.
Brm

P.s. I think I have a cdr if the single disc OW if any one wants it.

I never noticed before playing this program that DOLLS and SONG go together!
Musically- and in the film -according to Krupp!

I don't understand what you mean. Neither of those pieces are in the film.

I said "unused". But you said they they were intended for the same scene.
INTENDED.
What do YOU mean?

Please re-read my post on page 4. I stated that "Mechanical Dolls" appears nowhere in the film and that "Rachael's Song" was originally intended for the scene where Roy finds Pris.

It's true that Vangelis, for his own mysterious reasons, has made it so these two tracks can be edited together because of the overlapping track of background "wind," but otherwise we have no evidence of their connection.

I would love to know how to assemble the official 3CD set into film order, and what tracks are non-film (is it just disc three with the new stuff?).

On my blog about the score, I organized the tracks from the first two CDs in chronological order: http://bladerunnermusic.blogspot.com/2009/02/chronological-order.html

Keep in mind, though, that "Blade Runner Blues" and "Tales Of The Future" are suites that are used at least twice throughout the film, instead of scene-specific cues, so their narrative placement is somewhat debatable.

I ended the "debate"

Been rewatching this with your cue sheet.
Most of the cues are extremely.short in.the film or dialed in and out There is.no way a isolated score could be arranged into a listenable album.compared to available.cues on CD.

This is a really great collection. Very glad to have a clean version of Tyrell’s death now without the crossfades.

The extra music that underscores Leon’s interrogation is so great too.

Thanks for all the hard work on this.
