Turns out it wasn't legit. The label screwed up. There was a whole big thread about it.

I’v Been watching US Marshals on TV a lot lately. It seems to be playing constantly. The best thing about that movie is Jerry’s rapid-fire score. Some of the percussion in those cues is absolutely bonkers. Incredible stuff. Not sure if it was due to the wonky shooting schedule, but pretty much everything from the last third of that movie is absent from the CD including the cemetery shootout and the most excellent chase through the apartment building leading up to the Downey bad guy reveal and roof jump.
I want that stuff SO bad along with all the rest of it. Goddamit I miss hearing a new action score from that man.

I’m sure the good people at Varese are well aware of the requests for this one and I can’t wait to see it in my mailbox someday soon.

I assume he’s referring to the complete score, not the old album in your link.

Obviously. This is for the "We Hear You" Varese series line, so we obviously are not talking about currently in-print releases.

"Man on Fire" (John Scott)

Presumably they still retain the rights.

Their re-issue sold out fast. This time I'd like the full score, not another re-issue of the old short presentation.

I sure will get behind this. There's a lot of quieter, more sensitive scoring that's really wonderful in the film, omitted from the (very badly sequenced) original album.

And I'm guessing you'd be able to help Varese out with tapes for the complete score, should they be open to a Deluxe Edition?

Ha, I'd have to take another look when he's back in LA. I don't recall seeing any MAN ON FIRE tapes in his cache but they could be in London, France, or in some far recess of his home here that remains as-yet unexplored. Lots of stuff in there...

I had a hankering for Jerry a month ago and rewatched this...and my heart sank at each missing cue BURIED under LOUD AS HELL sound efx. The penultimate cue occurs about 80, 90mins. into the film & I remember thinking oh man...it's worse than I thought, missing music.

So, yes bugger AFO, Marshals needs attention, its a dissed gem.
Hear me Varese, and bugger your semi-sub-catagories labelling and cutesy poo packaging....just release shit,eh?

How about Love Field, Malice, and Along Came a Spider. Now there are three titles you don't hear about to often.
