Wait, why am I only charging $100 again? wink

TV shows do not come cheap, especially older ones like this. We made this set for die hard fans of the show. If you want a single disc best of compilation I'm sure you can find one at Walmart in the discount bin. We hope you guys really like it.

You won't hear me complaining. Take my money. smile

Greg's mission should he choose to except it: fudge the monthly financial numbers, hide the order, squirrel away the box set and enjoy it without her knowledge unless he wants her head to self destruct.

Is it wrong to empty your kid's piggy bank, trying to scrape together one hundred dollars?

Asking for a friend.

At last, at long last, they finally did it.

This is great news!

This is a masterpiece release.

With Planet of the Apes The Series, La-La Land turns 2015 into a wonderful year.

Keep up the good work!

I can only echo Thomas's comments above. Great news smile

Just remember, if you get caught with your hand in the piggy bank, , the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.

Good luck, Jim!

This is on my want list.

Any chance of Lalo signing some of these?
Or maybe Martin Landau?

I had the privilege of meeting Martin Landau several years ago. I was able to talk to him for several minutes at a FanExpo show and got him to sign an MI 8X10. He's an extraordinarily nice man and had talked about his early friendship with James Dean the night before at a seminar.

Perhaps a one-day sellout?

Nope. When was the last time you saw one of those? And even more so for an expensive item like this?

Remember when LLL's "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" set came out? Some here panicked it would sell out at a special screening of the film before it was even available to anyone else. But three years later, it's still around.

As will this one be. But I wish them nothing but success with it!

Only lacking a HAWAII-FIVE-0 Box set now to bring all my childhood dreams to fruition, since VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA is out there from another label!

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (the TV series) is represented by a single 30 minute CD containing two incomplete episode scores. With soooo many fantastic scores to mine, a box set (like the upcoming Lost in Space and the previous Star Trek) would make my lifetime.

I agree that it won't be a one day sell out, but I can see this gone by year's end. 1500 copies is not that many... this'll be an interesting test of the demand for relatively high profile, older TV series.

Maybe so. I'm a terrible judge (so it's a good thing my money isn't riding on these decisions). I certainly hope this is a success for La La Land, I wish them all the best.

I haven't been around much lately, moving will do that to you....

Wow! I'm pretty much young'n found these parts, but I've seen a lot of M:I episodes not to long ago. Really enjoy the TB series and the music is fantastic. I don't know when I can grab this, but I certainly will!!

I wouldn't have minded a boxset for the 80s incarnation as I remember that show

You poor thing. The revival is to the original as a bootleg CD is to the genuine article (the DVD set of the complete series includes the revival's two-part "The Golden Serpent" as an extra, and it's an embarrassment in comparison).

I was of course referring to the music of this series (of which Ron Jones also scored a handful of episodes) and I do prefer that version of the theme and remember liking the series' synth'y/percussion underscore when I watched it as a kid. So I guess you can call me a bootlegger then (talking about poor, what a bad analogy indeed).

And yesterday I've checked out some of the original series' music and really like the vibe as well.

P.S. yes, Jerry Goldsmith's death was a real loss, now even more so.
