If Kamen would be one of the themes that would be awesome. Die Hard 1&3 would be the coolest thing. In fact any "new" Kamen would be awesome. Last Boy Scout, Lethal Weapon, Event Horizon, ANYTHING!

Anything including Die Hard 3 would be the coolest thing in my book! If only we could get that damn Cinergi out of the way. :-)

Could the Howard title be an expanded Peter Pan?

That could have been the other "theme" for black friday if coupled with Hook.

I'd love to see his complete score to Dinosaur!

Could it be 'Outbreak'? I 'vaguely' remember it being mentioned in dispatches not that long ago.

Is Cinergi a problem here?

Hmmm... by omission, MV might have hinted that the Elfman and Kamen are coming this Black Friday. Good news for us!

I think you're exactly right!

I also think the Elfman title will be POTA and the Kamen will be Die Hard 1.

"Die Hard" would be a great score to issue in time for the xmas booze.

Just like "Gremlins" either today or tomorrow smile

MV said of all the titles listed, 2 were correct for Black Friday:

Batman Forever
Hook
Gremlins
Sand Pebbles
Towering Inferno
Lethal Weapon
Dracula
Die Hard
Scrooged
Nacho Libre
The Red Pony
Planet of the Apes
Ghostbusters 2 (MV already said these score elements don't exist.)
Cutthroat Island
License to Kill
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Lethal Weapon 2
X-Men
Supergirl
Mystery Men
Spider-Man 2/3
B:TAS Volume 2
Looker
Batman and Robin
Darkman
The Shadow
Scrooge (Musical)
King Kong
King Kong Lives
Judge Dredd
Congo
City Slickers 1 and 2
Police Academy 1-7
Die Hard with a Vengeance
Ghostbusters
Superman: TAS
The Ghost and the Darkness
Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Assassins
Fair Game
Twister
Last Boy Scout

If I were a betting man, I would bet on Elfman's Scrooged OR PoTA, and Kamen's Die Hard (Since MV mentioned the Howard title was pushed to next year, but didn't mention the Elfman or Kamen being delayed, AND the statements in the past about Die Hard).

And, MV mentioned that "If you want to save for all 4 titles you will need $90 plus shipping charges."

Hmmmm... what are the other 2? Let the flailing commence!

BTW, if my predictions are right, then that means no Hook. frown But I could be wrong.

I make that two singles & two doubles at $25 each, or three singles & one double at $30.

As I posted on their Facebook page, I hope Star Trek: TMP is on that schedule somewhere. And for those who wonder why, there's still plenty of music that's not on the 20th anniversary album, plus another 30 minutes of alternates.

The boxsets intrigue me. By boxset, I assume he means more than three discs (like Star Trek: TNG and Space: AaB). I also wonder if they have any WB titles in the pipeline. When I asked M.V. last time, he said, "Maaaaybe" in his usual inimitable way. smile Lukas seems to have a connection there (i.e. some of Intrada's recent releases like Wolfen).

Thanks for the info, mastadge!

Wow. 4 box sets planned. I hope they're all as awesome as the MoH set!

MV: Any chance you could give us a list of composers names you're planning on releasing this year, like the last 2 years? We would love it if you did. smile

The only one I can think of right now is Howard (probably JNH), because MV stated the release(s?) planned for 2011 were pushed to 2012.

Sweet! Here's hoping for a Lethal Weapon box in that mix!

The Goldenthal is obviously Batman Forever.

I really hope LLL has some David Newman planned.

The Goldenthal is obviously Batman Forever.

Looks like it. Here's a list with my guesses:

WILLIAMS - Could it finally be Hook??? (Sorry, I couldn't resist)
MANFREDINI - Friday the 13th (Known already)
ELFMAN - Remember MV said it was as good year for those who liked Elfman's Planet of the Apes?
GOLDENTHAL - Batman Forever? Batman & Robin? BOTH????
NEWMAN - Once again, which Newman??
TIOMKIN - ?
HOWARD - ?
GOLDSMITH - PLEASE by Star Trek: TMP! - but realistically, I have no idea.
KAMEN - ?
MANCINI - ?

Kamen could be Die Hard with a Vengeance, Robin Hood, The Last Boy Scout, Last Action Hero, or Lethal Weapon (any or all). If LLL is continuing a relationship with Universal, the complete Brazil score would be an awesome release!

Howard could be Falling Down or Flatliners. I'd love to see an expanded Outbreak but that might be a Varese thing.

I confess I'm not too familiar with Mancini's non-comedy work. Maybe Lukas is producing The Great Race for them via his connection with WB? (Reaching, I know.) smile
