Can't wait to see what is announced next Tuesday... I hear it might be something I'm quite interested in.
A 2-disc Golden Age release manufactured by Sony NY, if you recall from what MV said last week. I'm guessing it's from the 20th Century Fox vaults. That's one title, anyway.

I remember him saying that, but I am referring to something else that might (I'm not 100% sure) be announced. We'll know soon enough if I'm right, I guess.

So that leaves Elfman, Horner, Howard, and Kamen.
But plans change, plus we know there's a Goldenthal in the works. And MV said he had been working on three Christmas-themed titles but was only able to release one last year (Batman Returns).
Elfman - Planet of the Apes? Scrooged? Horner - I'm honestly stumped. Howard - Falling Down? Flatliners? (Assuming they're back in business with WB.) Kamen - Robin Hood? Die Hard? Die Hard with a Vengeance?

They already released Horner's Commando this year (or, re-released it).
How about this for a theme: A Joel Schumacher double feature-Falling Down or Flatliners and Batman Forever. It could account for the missing Howard title.

And true, plans change - that happened a LOT with the X-Files box. I'll be content if it's only Batman Forever announced on Black Friday; anything else is a bonus.

I'll give you this -- got some Howard title(s) brewing for 2012. . .Howard didn't make the cut in 2011

Btw, what is the plan with "Black Friday" scores? Are they going to be announced on that day and maybe ship a few days later or they will be announced earlier and start shipping on Black Friday? Just curious

They announce the scores on Black Friday and (I think) they start selling and shipping on the following Tuesday
May be COLLATERAL? MV mentioned a few years back that they tried to do a score album upon the films release but weren't allowed to or soemthing. Maybe now's the time?
Otherwise I'd love to see a FALLING DOWN score release, but since it'd be a world premiere release I think watertower still stands in the way (for what reason that might be since they don't release older scores AT ALL).

MV
Hmmm... by omission, MV might have hinted that the Elfman and Kamen are coming this Black Friday. Good news for us!
If Kamen would be one of the themes that would be awesome. Die Hard 1&3 would be the coolest thing. In fact any "new" Kamen would be awesome. Last Boy Scout, Lethal Weapon, Event Horizon, ANYTHING!
So whaddya think - is "Robin" one of LLL's two loose Black Friday themes - Batman Forever and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves? (or just a little pipe dream for ol' mstrox)
