More famous is the score for "Night of the Hunter," which was destroyed in a flood long ago. The Early Bird and various Ron Goodwin scores, unless someone re-records them or pays for the tapes to be done. Spider-Man 3, Sugarland Express, Damnation Alley and Blade Runner are pretty well documented on why they're problematic for release... But The Keep ... that one I heard is because of a fallout between Michael Mann and Tangerine Dream or something? Or is it something else? For example, he recently used leftover time with an orchestra and opera singers for a Wagner recording (can't remember which) to record his own opera GRENDEL -- to be released in the near future.
