Barry again?!

This is the 8th FSM Barry release. Far fewer than a number of other composers. So no cause for complaint in my opinion.

A great release. Thanks FSM for this one!

Great choice of cover. I have that poster on my wall next to my bed.

Oh man. I can't wait to hear the synth in the main titles finally sounding more clear.

Super stoked!!!! Wooooo!

This officially closes the book on Kong. I can't imagine a better presentation of this score.

Many thanks to everyone involved - this is a holy grail for me as well.

Well I was happy with the previous FSM cd of this until I listened
to the sound clips of this new cd. Wow! I didn't realize there was
that much unreleased music in the film. I should have known
better, considering the annoying habit back then (in the 70's)
of releasing 30 minute LP's. So...ORDERED! Thanks, Lukas!

Thank you Lukas! That a great year for Barry fans (and I hope that it's not over yet!)
Just ordered with big package:
2 Barry - Kong + Quiller
2 Goldsmith - Shadow + Twilight Zone
2 Bernstein - Rat Race + Heavy Metal

ps I was right, when said pass for FSM offer '4.95 for King Kong!' smile

Fantastic news! Thanks so much Lukas & FSM... you do make sure that your soon-to-be-very-very-much-missed label - which changed the whole archival film music industry - goes out with a bang. Or rather lots of bangs...

First THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, then BODY HEAT, now KING KONG. Holy grails and surprise findings (the extra music from CONDOR never fails to amaze me!) galore. Many thanks again, folks!

Hey Stephen am I not seeing it or is the "Air drop" cue not on here? Regardless super excited to scratch this grail off my list!

Has any tinkering been done to the album master portion? On the first CD, the strings have this weird quasi-mono sound to it (listen to the conclusion of the end credits, you'll hear what I mean), and it's... well, the only words to describe it are impolite. razz

This is fantastic though, I'm impatient to listen to it!!

After the shit day I've had, this is good news to end the day on.

I hear you there. I hate Mondays but today might be tolerable.
