Wow - I had to register just to say I'll be getting all four. My wallet is not happy - but I know I am!

Home Alone was one of the first real soundtracks that I picked up when I was a kid. I had no idea about the whole world of film scores, who John Williams was, or anything. I just got it because my dad said I could get something and I liked the movie. That score always will hold a special place close to me. So that one caught me completely out of left field...

Then I'm a sucker for the rest of the composers...

Thanks LLL for the releases! I had an issue earlier in the year with a problem with my order and they handled it with absolute class and respect.

Between Independence Day (thought I'd never see the day) and now this (in addition to all the other releases)...

Thanks for everything MV & LLL!

There's nothing here for me, but good call on getting the HOME ALONE thing out now before the holidays. Good timing!

I'm very intrigued to know what "Nimbus III" is? A discreet synth track that was buried in the film under wind effects - was it, in fact, not wind effects at all, but an actual cue? Or something that was removed from the film entirely?

and some cues seem to be longer than in album or even in film (comparing with the b**t)...

CANT WAIT!!

Nimbus III is in the Prologue, the sha ka re theme beginning with a four note motiv (the first three the same as the "note down and back again" from LORT) played by the
strings. It drops out of the growing wind and heart beat sounds, very short.

Great batch!!

THANK YOU, LLL and MV. What a stellar year this has been for you and for us. Your work to bring this music to us is so infinitely and greatly appreciated.

I'll be getting either all but Jade or all of them. Wow. Star Trek V, Home Alone, and Batman Returns are ALL must-haves, but Jade WILL be on sale.

Home Alone, Batman Returns, and Star Trek V will bring my total number of LLL albums purchased this year up to 14 - more than any other label!

(It helps that I'm 27 so I'm inclined to purchased scores from the 80s and 90s that I grew up with.)

Great work. Now go and enjoy your well-deserved time off!

As for Star Trek V (a.k.a. one of my holiest of holy grails):

"Maybe life is a dream." smile

My wallet is going to be hurting as much as my liver.

Question is - which do you hurt first?! wink

I'm going to have to snag two of the discs first and wait on the other two. I hope they're still around later but this is a tough time for year for the wallet.

Still ... Star Trek V. God may not need a starship - but I sure as f*ck need that soundtrack!

That's a loaded question right there! My liver hurts from yesterday, my wallet hurts at the anticipation of today's batch! Now lets say if I had to miss out on these CDs, I might have to resort to more liver punishment to drown my sorrow!

Ok I keed. I keed. Enjoy alcoholic beverages responsibly.
