I must say I'm very excited about the Flash music. WONDERFUL main theme by DE and SW did a great great job scoring the episodes. This is a welcome addition. So is La-La Lands goal to release everything that has ever been made for comics, TV, movies etc.!!! LOL FINE by me! I saw that Confession film at Blockbuster, I may rent it to get an idea of the musac.

Two words sells this release to me: SHIRLEY WALKER That's really all I need to know. Now, here's a word I'd like to whisper to La La Land: WILLARD.

I'm so thrilled about this release, but I must confess as with Lukas, it's getting a tad tiresome and I think somewhat rude to respond on a thread about a new release only to say, your not getting it. I just don't get it, the point of this thread is to let folks know about it, get excited, plan accordingly etc. If you AREN'T going to buy it, I think it's a nice thing to keep that to yourself. I don't by every release, but I sure the heck would never put on the thread, nice samples, but I'm not getting it. Just a word of thought. Our labels do a lot for us so I think a little respect can go a long long way, course this is just my silly opinion and I have learned, I know nothing in this little world!!

My compliments, DmD. Some people just feel the need to comment on everything - no matter how repetitive, pointless and tiresome their opinions may be.

I agree. Somebody else here once said, it's like the equivalent of walking into a restaurant you have no intention of eating at and proclaiming, "I'm sure the food is good, but I won't be eating here," then walking out. What's the point? It's as bad as when Varese or somebody announces a new title, perhaps a more obscure score, and people respond with comments like, "Pffft! That's it? Looks like I'll be saving some money this month" or "Never heard of it. Pass." It's just rude.

Our labels do a lot for us so I think a little respect can go a long long way, course this is just my silly opinion and I have learned, I know nothing in this little world!! You know enough to understand manners and thoughtfulness, and your comments are right on the nosey. I suspect some folks will respond with "oh, so we can't say anything bad ever about anything, huh? what is this, the Ass-Kissing Club?" Nobody is saying you can't have opinions that differ, but it's HOW you express them and whether it's the appropriate setting to do so. As you're about to post something, you should ask yourself: "Does anybody care that I don't want this CD or have no interest in it? Would I myself care if someone else expressed a negative viewpoint when something is released?" Personally, there may be CDs that I don't have any interest in, yet I support the releases because it's all about the greater good of film music preservation. Example - I'm not all that interested in PLAYERS, even as a Goldsmith fan. Does it really shed any meaningful light on the subject if I announce that I don't care about it? Nope, so why would I say it? Who cares that I'm not interested in PLAYERS? I'm not even interested in the fact that I'm not interested! You dig? I'd would rather let those who are excited about PLAYERS enjoy the celebration. And that is the polite thing to do.
